Nah...I'm not going to claim it will outproduce a 41K machine, but I sell these for around 3 grand and it doesn't use any gas, require any oil changes or grease.
Bought a hand full of these couplings, tried them out on a paver side walk project and they are very helpful for setting, checking depth and insuring level with a string level. I can see using them for pavers from now on.
The skid-steer mount plate on the original blade mount is pretty clever. Maybe need to add weights to the far end of the track-frame though - it looked a 'bit tippy' with it all loaded up?
@BobM how can the bucket be utilized to load dirt into a dump trailer/dump truck? Would this in conjunction with a blade buddy be the complete package or is there a way to do this with your product? And what is the smallest excavator this works for?
For dirt loading the boom is the most efficient. I've seen that blade buddy. My biggest fear with that is safety. Who is running the machine? Your not taking a full bucket of dirt and reaching out with it, or you'll flip the machine over. You need a bigger machine for that to work well also. I could load a pallet back onto a low dump trailer, but I'd not even consider using the 4 in 1 bucket for anything other than moving large volumes of material around. A 5k excavator is about the smallest machine I would ever set this up on, otherwise you lose to much lift capacity. I have moved 3k pallets of pavers with the machine you see in the video, but that was totally maxed out and going up a driveway with a slight slope.

Look everyone! All you have to do is grossly overload the hydraulics of this inadequate machine and you can just about put a rock in a trailer! Lol! Get a bigger machine, get a lower trailer and roll it on, get a trailer with a tail lift, get a ramp with a strap and winch it on, geezus anything but this.
Yeah, OK...I'm not buying or going off to rent a bigger machine just to move one rock. So glad you don't work for me. Clearly, nothing would get done with your attitude and lots of trailers( and possibly people) when the strap snaps, would end up damaged using your methods.
@@bobm6527 EXACTLY..I've moved rock that big with my Harbor Freight trencher, I'll say it again, moved, not lifted. Well beyond the capacity of my machine, but you do what you got to do...Great video, thanks!

As a Stone Mason with over 45 years in the trade we used to have to do this for REAL most days WITHOUT any modern lifting equipment!!! I now have MUCH better machinery, BUT just knowing HOW to do it is MOST of the battle!!!!!!!!!
Only because I was demonstrating what the machine is capable of. If you watch later in the video a pile on the ground is very easy to pick up and leaves little to almost nothing to hand shovel or sweep.

These things are great to use!! We only started using them and they really help you raise and lower stringlines super quick! There is no untying of the line required. You can use them with or without a laser level to set the heights. They also work fantastic for setting up a string line for the paver bond lines as you can make minor adjustments to the left or right simply by rotating the tool (so there is no need to tap the pin back and forth any more). We have even used for retaining walls to quickly adjust the height of our string line.
I'll assume you use your skid steers for the sole purpose of loading or moving dirt then? They weren't originally designed to do anything other than move dirt. That's a skid steer....not a forklift, not a tractor, not a backhoe, not a asphalt profiler, not a york rake, not a post hole digger, not a....... You get the idea
