Thank you for posting this video. The santur is played in many countries, from India to Persia and from there to Greece and Romania....and in America. It has a very interesting travel history! In itself a beautiful tale! Its echo fills the universe.
I got a tuning recipe that gives all sharps & flats on right side and all the naturals on the left. I can't imagine playing most of the notes in the melody with my left hand! Can I get any advice? Thank You!
I was just tasked with being in charge of finding and buying an Santur. I live in Texas. I didn’t happen to find any local, but there are 102 on eBay from $300-$3000. Since I know nothing about them, what I’d difference between Indian and Persian santur/Santoor? Is there any place in america that I can buy them? What should one pay for them?

I'm gonna plan a trip to india as soon as this covid-19 situation is solved. How does it work in india are there santoor master makers and how much does a good santoor costs?
@@Nikhil_Nerlekar here in iran santoors and other classical instruments as kamanche , tar ,setar, tanbour can cost a lot and the masters who build them are very famous and they're treated with a lot of respect
