i finally tried twists i actually liked them a lot other than a lot of them were unraveling and i didn’t know how to stretch them at the time😭😭 im probably going to do them again after i take my knotless braids down
I love mini twists!! Twisting tightly helps a lot with unraveling and making sure the hair is completely dry by diffusing or sitting under the dryer once you finish! I hope they stay put next time! 💕
@@StarringLia i’ll try that next time thanks for the tip! but honestly i think it’s just my hair texture😭, i don’t really plan to keep the twists any longer than a week so im not sure the unraveling would be much of a problem since im not keeping it in for that long
I got it from Sally’s! Here is the link for the exact brush! www.google.com/shopping/product/8240456931239346710?lsf=seller:3646142,store:4724045335370867938,lsfqd:0&prds=oid:7954804697198941997&q=combs+and+brushes&hl=en-us&ei=40uDZuqyJp6awbkP7-KE4Ak&sts=14&lsft=gclid:CjwKCAjwp4m0BhBAEiwAsdc4aIy6OaoGqMb_yya712Zo6joiHub16lvXasOEzcRz-ZdEhLm5V5pAghoC9NQQAvD_BwE
I tried this with blown out hair but once I put the wet mouse on my hair it started to revert back to its natural state. Once it tried and I took all the rods out it was basically like I had never blown out my hair, lots of frizz with no stretch or definition. Any suggestions? Is there a less “wet” alternative than a mouse that might work? Thanks in advance!
Did you use the doux mousse or another foam/mousse? Some products do tend to be more water based. I try to limit myself to one pump of mousse per section to minimize the hair reverting back. You could also only focus the product on the ends to maintain the blowout look. I don’t have any other products that will be less water based besides an oil! 💕
@@StarringLiai used the blue LottaBody foaming mousse. I wonder if it a similar consistency to yours. I will try just giving the ends a try next time. Thank for the reply!
@ashlaav I have used that product when I first went natural and it does have quite a bit of water in it that can revert the hair easily! Let me know if applying just to the ends work! 💕
I would say I’m a journey to healthy hair! Of course, I would love to continue to grow my hair but if I see any damage, I am not afraid to cut/trim and allow more time for length retention. I would say my hair is somewhat of a normal density. 💕
