Welcome and thank you for stopping by! My name is Mackenzy. I'm a wife, mother of 6 big kids (tweens/teens/twenties), homeschooling mom ✏️, public school mom, soccer mom ⚽️, cross country ski mom ⛷️, track mom 🏃, cat lady 🐈⬛, optimist 😁, introvert ✌️.
Life is an adventure, and parenthood is a roller coaster. For a reason that is difficult to explain, I feel compelled to document my life; the extraordinary and the mundane, the amazing and the messy.
I’m not a perfectionist. I will tell you to take shortcuts. Sometimes it's okay to let go of the details and focus on the big stuff. Anything worth doing is worth doing imperfectly. I also often remind myself that it doesn't matter how it got this way, all that matters is what I'm doing about it now.
My goal is to have a comfortable home where everyone feels welcome and loved. You will see messes and unfinished projects and walls that need to be painted. That’s a sign of life well lived in our home. I’ll get to it later. 😉
Hi! Thank you for your nice comment! Yes, there will be more! I hit a bit of a roadblock with editing, so I may just be doing more posting and less editing in the future. :)
Good haul for you and your family! When you said you always get Campbell's tomato soup? Have you tried great value tomato soup? My mom and I are hooked we won't hardly get Campbell's now! Just wondering wanted to give you a tip if not!
On the first day of the May, we wrote the numbers 1-31 on a piece of paper (the number of days in the month), cut them apart, and put them in the jar, then draw one out each day.
We have also done this with a pineapple and a watermelon. The watermelon is still practically unchanged after 6 months! I joke that we should just give up and eat it already! 🤣
Hi! It’s a Cosco Rise. It’s a pretty basic booster. I do think it’s pretty narrow, but I’ve never had to worry about it too much since I only have 1 kid still in a booster seat. Car Seats For the Littles has a review with measurements on their website.
