I have done silk painting myself. I always liked using the salt effect.. Silk painting has been around for years. I use to paint scarves and men’s silk ties.

Shuchita Naik Appears to be Acid Dye, so it’s probably mixed with citric acid or vinegar and water. To make it permanent, you’d have to heat set it in the microwave or iron with a hot iron.
Excellent video. I have tried using salt, but I didn't leave it long enough and all I got were spots and patches. I was too impatient. Those swirls are lovely.

shes working with dye No fabric paint.. Dyes that I love to work with is Dupont, They are so true to life of the dye. It looks like she used Sennienlier dyes.. and Sugar and Salt its a special salt she used not table salt.. I love this technique I draw designs from dreams then I use this technique onto the backgrounds.
