I have great respect for David Wilkerson. I met him once while in Bible college preparing for the ministry. His work is world renowned and rightly so. I am sure God welcomed him with a "Well done my good and faithful servant." In spite of that, he is not infallible. This is not so much a rebuttal of David Wilkerson, but my personal views from over 48 years as a minister and student of scripture. Feel free to agree or disagree, but do so objectively and with respect. Things I question or outright disagree with in David Wilkerson's sermon, "Hell, What is it. Who's going there." There will be an every increasing glory in Heaven. Becasue of God's perfection I believe he is the glory of Heaven and the New Earth, and perfection cannot be more or less than it is now. Hell is eternal darkness, and there's not a speck of light. You say if there's fire there's light; but David Wilkerson says not the "liquid fire" that God has created in Hell. There's no light from that fire whatsoever. There is an everlasting Hell, and there will be an ever increasing torment for the occupants Satan and demons will not be punishing the ungodly but God's vengeance will be there and will be continually worse and worse. (Not an exact quote but the same idea) I know Satan and the demons will be suffering their own torment (Satan forever - Revelation 20:10 KJV) My mind can't conceive of God hanging around Hell and tormenting those in Hell. It will be enough that they are there forever, knowing they can never leave. David Wilkerson believes the greatest torment will be remembering the times when the gospel was presented to them and they rejected it or neglected it thinking they would have other chances to turn to Christ when it's more convenient. It's a tossup for me between those two. All memory of unsaved loved ones will be gone and all memories of suffering. Later in the same sermon he says what I believe, that those in Hell will recall the times they heard and refused the gospel and other wicked memories will come back to them. Peter said; "Knowing the terror of the Lord" (Paul said that) God will create a special planet, and when people are carried awsy by the angels bound hand and foot, and cast into outer darkness, they are carried to this planet. When God is done with judgment God will cast the planet far from him and it will get farther and farther away from the light. There will be a sense from everyone in Hell that they are drifting further and further away from God. (Since there is no scripture to back this up, and because it is similar to the Mormon belief of a planet where spiritual babies are born I must reject his idea). By preaching an "eternal Hell" David Wilkerson has to omit or reject the lake of fire. I think the errors in regard to this message have to do with his age and aging memory. Hell and the lake of fire are two different places and two different events. Hell is immediate after death and the lake of fire is after the judgment seat in Revelation 20:11-15 KJV. Death and Hell are cast into the lake of fire in verse 14 of this passage and all whose names are not fond written in the Lamb's Book of life will be cast into the lake of fire - verse 15.
Here on 3/10/22. Had to come listen to this precious Man of God. My spirit keeps bringing me to these prophecy's from years ago. I feel they are coming to pass soon! I know we are very close.

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in water for the removal of sins and filled with the Holy Ghost. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH OR OBEDIENCE TO GOD. Titus 1:16, They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. FAITH WITHOUT OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS IN VAIN. If you believe in this message, be blessed by God in helping to spread it in the name of Jesus Christ so people can get saved the right way. God bless you.
Almost skipped over this...Pastor Wilkerson was suffering from throat problem here.At the very end he said not to give voice to the thoughts that the enemy puts in our mind. Truth straight from the Bible.
I once seen a vision of me being in a corner of a room and all kinds of cluttering stuff all over then the room would clear all up the last thing that david had to share was a scripture God gave me when this happened clear up a room

I think david Wilkerson's sincerity and love of God his words living word of God. If we keep carrying the lord jesus christ words in our hearts, keep our lamps burning like the stories in the bible jesus told before the bridegroom return for us his children the wise kept oil of holy spirit burning in the lamps of heart. I don't want to be like the foolish virgins that didn't keep oil in their lamps burning, they later said lord jesus christ let us in to heaven banquet, but they were not allowed in, but shut out, how scary is that. But let's be like prophet Jeremiah who said God his words burning in his heart I can not keep it in got let it out. I pray the lord jesus christ and his holy spirit ,and father God will make us all,shine more bright and brighter for our savior jesus christ till that bless day of christ soon return, blessed day of us that look forward to his return. How poignant the timing of this sermon. A world intoxicated drunk on fear. Just as prophecy reveals. All prophecy has been opened and soon the mystery of iniquity will seed those frightened people with virus and hacking threats and “they” revelation 17:17 will be the ones to “cause” you to accept the mark just like this virus, this fear.
I didn't know we could actually live holy and pure lives. Let alone that this is the narrow path and that Christ is the narrow gate. This sermon saved my life. I did not take heed to Gods word before. But now I hang on to Christ for dear life.
