So are we going to talk about how they edited the audio on our president’s introduction (where the majority of the graduating class effectively boo’ed him) at 14:47 or how at 1:29:09 they specifically cut the livestream to the audience on only one student who happened to be a physically disabled trans woman of color?
Dear Celebrities, thought-leaders, coaches, and mentors. Please STOP using Black and Brown children feeling the way SOME of them feel as a mindset issue. It's not. IT. IS. NOT. What his story and the data leave out is the fact that those students do better in 3 months vs 6 months is the fact that more than likely, that 3-month program was taught by a person that looked like them, and did not judge them, and supported them for who they were and didn't display microaggressive behavior around them. These leaders, celebrities, coaches, and mentors try to use "date" and stories like these to say, "Yeah. It's all about how you think. The reason Black people are like they are is that they think they are. They are victims because they think they are." BULLSh*T! One thing these people never explain is incidents like Tulsa Oklahoma. And hundreds of others cities like theirs during the 20s that were thriving without having to interact with white people. Including banks, schools, medical centers, arts, music, grocery stores, plumbing, carpenters, etc. Thriving communities. Several of them were across the country. All were bombed by the government. This is not make-believe. It's easy to find documentation in government records, state records, and social records. Not to mention on the internet, in books, and tons of documentaries. What about their mind-set? They built entire cities where people hated them and threatened their lives. What about the original Black Panthers? They were based on educating and feeding their communities without outside help. So every time Black people build something up, a certain group destroys it. So stop with the ideal that Black people are victims because of their mindset.
Out of curiosity, How inclusive is it to have a Rabbi, but not a Pastor, an Imam, a Monk or any other religious leader? Is Judaism the official religion at Drexel?
