Hey there, my name is Eric Roberts and I am the owner, head coach, and lead author here on Eric Roberts Fitness.
My life has been dedicated to being a fitness coach who approaches fitness with a No BS philosophy. I have worked with hundreds of people just like you, in person and online, to help achieve a stronger, leaner, and more functional body.
While I believe in certain fitness guidelines, appreciating the individuality of every person is paramount. While some people are searching for a total body transformation, others are looking to ensure they get guidance in their workout everyday.
As a fitness coach, I not only provide training services and nutritional guidance, but I will change the way you think and help you learn the skill of being “healthy”.
There is a lot of “fitness information” out there flooding the internet. One of my sole purposes of this site is to give people a reliable, non promotive, No BS source you can count on.
Solid info. "Tone" was a made up word in the 80s-90s - you either have build up muscle that you can expose by leaning out, or you dont have built up muscle - none of this "toned" crap.
Do not eat the ice cream. I went on keto it was rough the first few weeks but now I no longer crave sugar, the weight has come off and inflammation is gone.
At 60 years old It took me years to get motivated to change my eating habits and join the gym and I'm loving the impact of this change. This guy is trying to sabotage my gains. Where's Eddie...?
Nah the volume from rice crisp are mostly air or hollow space. If you take out the air, like after you chew it, the volume would be less than the avocado lol. Basically it's fake volume food like popcorn - which is the food that many influencer preach to eat for volume food. By the time it reach the stomach, it'd already deflated and don't take a lot of space anymore in the stomach. If the food don't take a lot of space it wouldn't give the feeling of fullness.
The only reason why there was no change in the study it’s because they ended up eating the same amount of calories but one group made space for cheat meals. So the conclusion should be “you should stick to your deficit and once you learn how to track calories properly you’ll learn how to be always be on a deficit and still enjoy your fav foods”
I’m trying so hard to avoid sweet and sugary treats. But, my partner buys them for me out of love. I dropped 22 lbs. cutting out those foods. How can I tell him in a nice way that I appreciate the thought but it’s sabotaging my efforts. Any suggestions?
I didn’t take diet breaks because I thought it would make me lose weight I took diet breaks every like 10 pounds or so and went to maintenance because I was fucking hungry…. Plus it got me used to maintaining new weights
