I was looking on your website because I was thinking of buying some 18” doll eyes, but not all of the eyes have pictures. Is there any way for me to see what they look like on a doll before I order them?
I’m struggling so much with my first eye swap. Do you have any advice for getting the new eyes in? Im using red Doll Of A Kind eyes and they are beautiful
I have to say, your video helped me the most with my first eye swap. I watched many other videos. Most said to only have the water in for 2.5 minutes. That wasn’t long enough to get the head soft. 5 minutes is what it takes, as you said in your videos. I was so afraid of ruining the eyes, it took me 4 or 5 tries to get them out. When I put new ones in, I had boiling hot water in the head for 5 minutes and it softened it up enough to put the eyes in with ease.
I love Dollofakind eyes because they have bigger irises like the original AG eyes (but they are prettier haha). Other brands of eyes the irises are too small, and it gives the doll a ‘stunned’ look which I don’t like. So I recommend to only buy Dollofakind replacement eyes for your customization projects. ❤
hello, I really hope you can answer my question. Can you rotate the eyes also up and down? I have OG dolls that don’t show the whole Iris and I would like to rotate them upwards.
please do not stop making/selling your eyes! They are the only kind I use. I also wear two gloves as it protects my thumb pad when I push the new eye down. 👏👏👏
Thank you so much for this great video. English isn't my mother tongue and I'm not quite sure... is the lip color staying on the lips permanently? Cause that's what I'm looking for. A permanent way to paint for example my luvabella or hasbro my real baby. Are jackson pastel crayons also the kind of pastel you're talking about? Could I use them? I don't want a shiny finish though. I'd like it to look like natural baby lips but in a nice rose tone. Do you maybe have any idea for a noob like me...? I've never done it! Thank you so much!
Hi, sorry my huge delay, I missed your message!!! To be able to make the pastel paint permanent, after you paint the doll you have to seal the paint with Mr. Clear Matt finish.... let me know if you need more information... Thank you
Do you have to take the eyes out of the doll to swap, or could it be done with the eyes still in the head? Is it simple enough for a complete beginner to do? Or do you need some doll repair experience? Also, please, PLEASE tell me you will be getting these irises in the dark chocolate brown color.....
Hola im sure you dont know who i am but i know you very well gosh that sounded creepy what i mean is i actually grew up with you and your daughters i wont say their names for privacy reasons but we went to the same church and i modeled for you i was friends with your oldest daughter and when to music camp with her we were in violin class together i was in such awe hearing so many huge AGTubers say your name because i remember when you were starting out you made my custom doll pero si im so happy seeing your success if you are puzzled by who i am this is iza bueno eh bye
I just received my first pair of swap on eyes, and they are amazing. I love them SO much! I find them much easier for the customization process also, because I don't put the eye chip in until I'm done painting the face. The eye is in but the area I most worry about getting paint on is not. It's the best of both worlds. And because the chip is glass, it has the same shine, depth, and gorgousness of all the other Doll of a Kind glass eyes. No one else on the market has this kind of technology right now. And there are so many colors and designs to choose from. My doll's eyes are constantly noticed for how real and stunning they are. The eyes are always easy to get in, and they sit beautifully in the socket. I've used eyes from other companies and they just can't compare. Add to that the impecable customer service from Doll of a Kind, and it's truly the best experience possible.
