Same color as the one my Dad had when he took sabbatical in 1976. Unbelievably comfortable to drive. Not fast, but went through 18" of snow, uphill, passed a Fiat 128 with 4 swarthy Greeks in the mountains by Stavros. Crazy car - but I wouldn't want to get in an accident in one !
If my life was the same day over and over again like in Groundhog Day the movie, I would love living trooping the colour over and over again. Roaring music, pomp and circumstance, quick marching. I would happily die on such a day.
I watched on slow and finally thought I picked up the first verse in terms of guitar. The chorus I'm still trying to get that passage. And of course the second verse is totally different in terms of the accompaniment. He's so good...
I gave up on the guitar part but keep coming back to this to sing along with for at least ten years. Can’t get over how great this is. He should do it live, his voice shines on this song.
@@multiclarkgriswold Here is the first verse: D, walk up to G, then down to Asus. The second line is the same but the walk up to G and down is quicker. Third line is D, then grab C# in the bass, then Bm to Em to A. The Chorus starts D, then add C# in the bass, to G to A. Next line is D to Bm7 to G to Asus. Finally you can play the last line as D to G to Asus to D but there are these beautiful internal lines he plays there. The whole thing is chock full of pretty bass lines, little hammers, etc. that make this a beautiful arrangement. Many times he is playing the G with his index catching the D on the second fret and when he walks down from G note to F# his index is playing an A on the third string. I think the best way to learn this is just to strum chords with no filigree and get the timing down and then slowly add in bass notes and little fills. All notes seem to be in the key of D (from the capo). Anybody that can add to this, please throw in your two cents.
Go away with this music the whole time. The restauration was nice to see, wee done. And at the end of the video you can see that the good old „Ente“ as it is called in Germany has more style than a modern ( Lotus) supercar👍😎😝
The best of British. If the UK ever gave up its monarchy, it would become the third world country of Europe. England was a Republic for 11 years during its long history; I can tell you it didn’t work out too well.
I also have the same although it's much less noisy, but definitely not right. I've done the tappits, no change. My tapping noise will go away at full throttle, which means it must be something in the combustion system, possibly piston slap.
Really appreciate you taking the time to do these videos. They are the best I have seen to date in explaining the process. I am starting work on my 56 2cv ( later engine and gearbox) and after seeing these I feel much more confident about what lays ahead. Is there a 4th video?
did you know its illegal to use a vehicle horn unnecessarily? which is very clear by you beeping along to the music, Devon is a place of hose riders and farmers, you could have spooked a horse making it throw its rider or scared cattle causing a stampede, next time you decide to come down this way use google to do your route research.... i do hope you didn't damage your van to badly (she says laughing behind her hand) inconsiderate cretin
I got this tent about 14 years ago They stopped making them can only imagine too many people struggled to take it down. But once you have the hand of it, it’s great piece of camping kit Mines probably been put up and taken down 40 times, been on a plane, taken on beach’s, even and full gang of 6 in it up a mountain Just got it out today and sprayed it down ready for use this weekend.
