I play it 4 times as a big RE fan and i still think Code Veronica is not worth of my time even if i replay it is gonna be like every 2 years The replayability is so low it makes me want to replay Ninja Gaiden NES more than Code Veronica it is a frustable experience this with Zero is one of the weakest one of the Classic RE No wonder why Capcom didn't even remake it but in my honest opinion i wanted them to remake it CV needs a remake so badly i could see the potential
I do not care if it was a joke video, all the points you made are all 100% true, dark souls 2 is the best soulsborne game, negative diffs the entire genre, unironically
I don’t know why, maybe it’s the lack of a strong narrative or the overreliance on audiologs but I found the entirety of MGSV to be pretty mid. Like, it was a good game, but after this and then Death Stranding I still fail to see why people hold Kojima in such high regard.
You asked a question: "why doesn't venom speak much?". And then in the next couple minutes SKIPPED the answer. The same reason he forgot foreign languages and now needs staff help. YOU ARE TOLD THE REASON IN THE SAME CONVERSATION. This feels very strange.
I'm interested in this game but I want to know if the HUD can be disabled completely? I really hate the x-ray vision, floating markers and the enemy tagging along with all the other hand holding HUD features. It feels very Ubisoft to me. Great video thank you!
I have to turn this guys vids off after 2 minutes of watching because the California west coast or whatever inflection in the voice is infuriating. Literally every 2-5 seconds, every sentence has to end in rising pitch. Would be good content though. Just my feedback, you should pay attention to it
I can’t believe they gave Jill a fucking crop top. What a choice. Like these guys bite you but we need her to show cleavage. Also: Raccoon City is modeled more after a Japanese city than a normal US one. The streets are narrow and full of shops compared to the wide streets of the US.
It is definitely a game that benefits from the coop experience and REALLY investing time in your base; a pity it was made in the circumstances it was Edit after watching more: also a game that benefits from playing it for a while instead of binging it for sure
I don't understand all the hate this game gets. I played the first 3 RE games, loved them. Then I found CV and I was amazed. The graphics were better, the panning camera with the pre rendered backgrounds, the weapons. Plus, the game was long. You got more exploration, more enemies, more of everything. Also, no Nemesis! He was the one thing I didn't like about RE 3. CV is in my top 3 RE games, Remake and 4 being the other.
Great review. I like that ammo doesn’t auto combine in item box, there are some instances when you want to take a few powerful rounds to use with the idea of opening up an extra slot for carry items
Peace Walker is such a terrific game, especially for the PSP. Playing the PS3 version is the best way to play it by far, but playing the PSP version on a PS Vita to make use of the a second analog stick makes playing it much easier too.
Imagine your 16 when this game came out. Friends are telling you about it but refusing to lend it. You have to cut some grass and walk to the mall to pick it up. I still have my copy.
Hey man, just subed and new to this channel. Came because of AC 1 cuz im also playing it now, but i checked out your other videos too. I like how you immerse yourself into the game and actually talk like you did all that in real life. Keep up the good work, im really enjoying these reviews and your gameplay 👍. ( Not to brag but i am ranked third in AC1 the first game, and only failed one mission. I use two leg model btw. Hopefully i will be able to defeat Hustler One.) Update: I just beat Armored Core and finished at ranking 2. I wasnt able to beat Hustler One head on either. So i just lured it into vent both times and then it was just about who dealt most damage. I had 1000 bullet machine gun and my AP is 9120 in total so yeah. I won but was left with only 637 AP by the end of mission 😅.
Debug rom no longer required. All PAL roms work. The requirement for debug rom originally had nothing to do with options/features in SoH, but it was decompiled first due to debug options making it easier to understand in the decomp project.
I remember playing through Survive in 2018, and just really enjoying it. Something about, being able to loot, and mish-mash Soviet and African equipment and develop a sort of headcannon for the person you was playing struct me creatively at the time, and I ended up just playing through it whilst listening to Bill Burr podcasts. I can't remember a single second of it. But, Naked_Jimbo lives on in my screenshots.
I remember playing RE2 for the first time at a friend's house. I didn't have a PS1, but it was one of the games that convinced me to ask my dad to get me a PS1 and RE2 for Christmas. The game captured the feel of being trapped in an apocalyptic zombie outbreak so well and in such a cinematic way that rivaled any zombie horror movie. The scary mood and atmosphere was so effective that my best friend's little cousin would ask me to come over and play the game for him as he watched because he was too afraid to play it himself.
3.9 is generous in my opinion. This game is, and probably always will be, the worst game for which i paid full price. It's a Resident Evil game, on Playstation, what could go wrong?... Here is something that happened to me, fighting the final boss (Tyrant). You are basically dodging its jump attacks and running from the thing, to create some distance before shooting. I was able to do this pretty reliably and could get off a one shot before dodging its attack (rinse and repeat). After doing this about 100 times, i figured that something wasn't quite right. What I realized is that even though I shot the Tyrant (splat animation combined with splat sound effect on the Tyrant) the game was not registering them as damage. THE GAME WAS SO UNPOLISHED AND UNTESTED THAT IT WASN'T REGISTERING MY SHOTS!
Yeah no RE3 was where I completely lost interest in any future RE games. Didn’t care for nemesis, didn’t like the story, couldn’t stand Carlos……yeah……any version of RE3 original or remake is gay….i mean REALLY FUCKIN GAY…..GAY AS FUCK BRO!!!
Dude…. You completely misunderstood the ending. Venom feels betrayed. Just like the player does. That’s why he punches the mirror. That’s why the song is The Man Who Sold the World. The legendary soldier went into hiding and used his own loyal man as a human shield. It’s a terrible betrayal of someone who believed in him. He literally steals his life! And Kojima spoke about how it was difficult to make the player feel they were the bad guy when they were playing as Big Boss. It disturbed him that nobody saw him as a villain in Peace Walker… because they justified his actions as the player. So with V he has Big Boss betray US. So we feel that pain. It’s a horrifically evil thing. And a genius twist. Why do you think he set it up that way?? If Venom was just going to go… “huh, ok” the why even have the twist for the player?
1:29:50 Why didn't you comment on the big reveal that Miller is blind? :-/ Bizarre (Not to mention how paranoid he's become -- it's the beginning of the end for DD, and a sign that he's become "blinded by revenge".)
Played it on release. They charged you 15$ for additional save slots and asked you to spend about 6-8 hours stabbing at wiremesh fences with short bursts of scavenging stuff from black smoke zones between. Your base building was predefined, uncustomizable. Ammo was so rare that rarely did ppl shoot in co-op, the story itself was not co-opable. Just a dissapointment overall.
My mother knew I was such a huge fan of Metal Gear that she bought me a game cube just for this game! FYI…. I’m a grown man and still have my Solid Snake action figure
