I just watched the whole series. Daniel Mays was amazing as DCI Peter Jay. He played that role so perfectly as the detective investigating the case. I'm curious to see what other works he's in.
He had a lot of stuff going on that was really heartbreaking, but I gotta say, the first clip, when Penny tells him off, that wasn't traumatizing him. That was... honestly pretty deserved, at the time. He sexually harassed every woman, but especially Penny, for a long time, every time he talked to them. He refused to take no for an answer, continuing to sexually harass when he was told to stop. He deserved to be told off, and he needed it. Someone had to get through to him, since he didn't respect any woman enough to listen to them otherwise.
I so love their friendship the best thing about Penny she pushed and challenged Sheldon socially and interacted with him and didn’t just “put up” with him like the others
Relationships. Complicated. Exhausting. Never end well. Good luck. I'm single have a Mustang and a dog named Pooch. Neither have caused me the problems people have. Never been happier.
Penny never really sold me that she loved Leonard. In fact none of her dalliances showed that she loved any of them. Penny was wholesomely sexy, but her love and romantic exploits were lacking. Guess she didn’t need to be that way.
No one had a better character development than Amy Farrah Fowler, Penny made Amy into a better person and Leonard made Sheldon into the best version of himself.
Friends like Leonard are very hard to find. No matter the eccentricites of Sheldon he always stayed by his side, Sheldon may have never been able to portray as a good friend but he was afraid to be alone and Leonard made him into a better person. Leonard is the reason why he was able to evolve and change into a much better person. Having a good friend can make you the best version of yourself and he was always a kind soul who was always there for everyone. Long live Leonard Hofstader, you shall always have a place in my heart.
if I was in place of leanord, I would say Beverly "You should die, you should die with all grief and sarrows", but Leanord had a control over his emotions.
