Hello crafty friends, and welcome to my RU-vid channel. If you love making cards as much as I do, you’ve come to the right place. Or maybe you are just starting out on your card making journey and need a few pointers, then please feel free to leave a comment with any questions. Thank you so much for visiting my channel and have a fabulous day.
Very cute cards but I missed seeing how they looked inside with a fold. I've only seen round cards cut in one piece with a slightly flat top. These look so pretty as full rounds and have so much potential ❤
I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that I didn’t show the inside of the card. They are totally plain but could quite easily be decorated. With having the score line about 1 1/2” from the top, they look like a perfect circle with that 1 1/2” missing. I hope that makes sense. Thank you so much for watching my video 🤗
Another one I LOVE ❤! Great background and design. Thank you so much for continuing to share the inspiration for the latte series 😊 I'm enjoying every video 👍 Cheers, 🥰
Really enjoying these latte card series! While I'm not a coffee drinker, I love all coffee related images ❤ and make many cards for friends & family. Thanks for sharing these terrific ideas, I enjoy your video's. Cheers, 😊
Thank you, I’m pleased you like the card. I used Tri-Blend markers to colour the hedgehogs. You certainly could mask the flower but I actually did a little stamp surgery and snipped it and the stem off. I know a lot of people don’t like to do that but it doesn’t hurt the stamp and it’s easily put back together, and you can also use the flower separately. Thank you so much for watching my video 🤗
Thank you, I’m pleased to hear that you like it. The covered coin works really well. I’ve experimented with a few things but the coin is a keeper. And thank you so much for watching my video 😊
Not only the cutest card EVER the video is wonderfully enjoyable. Thank you so much for the inspiration. I am definitely going to try and make these for upcoming birthdays.
All three cards are so beautiful! I just love the layouts and as always your card creations lend themselves to any stamp/die sets we have. Such a terrific thing especially for newcomer papercrafters like me. :-) Thank you so much for the many tips.
Hi Lesley, I have made many cards with teabag folding, with the original Dutch teabags, almost from the beginning when it became popular. I am originally from The Netherlands, now in Ohio USA, and as you probably know the teabag folding started in The Netherlands over 25 years ago. I still have many books with folding patterns and examples. And a small collection of the original tea bag papers; the printed paper wraps where the teabags are in (not the bags with the leaves, LOL!!). I really enjoyed your video, thank you for sharing this old but golden technique 👍
Thank you so very much, it is always nice to revisit older techniques. I actually didn’t know anything about the origin of teabag folding, so really appreciate the information 🤗
Lesley- I live the way you described your design process! You s tally make the focal point step 1. This makes a lot of sense to me. I too like to ink the edges to give pieces added dimension. Thanks for sharing!
Hi I'm really keen to organise my stamps using this system. I just wanted to ask do you stamp a stamp in more then one category ? And how do you number them is it per category or just start at 1 and carry on. Sorry for all the questions
Hi Helen. I’m pleased to hear that you like this organization. I do stamp in more than one category. For example, if I’m stamping a pumpkin, that would get stamped in Autumn, Halloween and maybe food depending what it looks like. When I file them in my shelves, I try to keep them in themes but they are also in alphabetical order. That’s why I’ve had to put letters after the numbers. I hope that makes sense. You can never ask too many questions, so no apologies needed. Thank you so much for watching my video 🤗
Ok I have everything I need to start this but where do I start. You say it numerical and alphabetical in order . So do you number in the categories so alphabet 1,2,3 then animals,1,2,3 . I can't figure out how to start this .
Whoops I hit the wrong key. I started with Christmas. So just started at #1 and just kept going through my whole stamp collection. I only added the letters when I added more stamps. For example. If I bought say a new snowflake stamp and wanted to add it to my Christmas section, and it should fit between stamp set 5 and 6. I would give that snowflake stamp the number 5a. Hope that makes it clearer? 🤗
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BiKkKGtMej4.htmlsi=hfOejm-ynRlpjea4 Thank you so much for leaving a comment, I really appreciate hearing from you. I’ve attached a link to part 2 of this video so that might answer a few more questions. But I actually do give everything from the same set, the same number. I also keep it all together in the same original packaging. I only stamp the stamps separately in the binder. I hope that makes sense. Thanks again for watching 🤗
