Back in 07, I bought a new Saab 9-3 Aero wagon 6spd using European Delivery. I had been living in Denmark since 2005 and was getting ready to move back. I really wanted to do a lap of the Nurburgring, and I was dropping the car off in Amsterdam. I could've made the detour and added an extra night to my trip, and I was planning it. Until I found out that my car had a "time limited number plate." The European Delivery license plate was only valid for 6 months and they weren't allowed on the track. I was bummed out, but the day I would've left if I had gone to the track, it rained almost all day. The next day was dry and sunny, and I had a lovely drive through north western Europe.
Rob I don't know why there was a blank section at the beginning. I'm recovering from a mild stroke & have no memory of anything since Sept. 9th so I can't say if I knew you were headed to tghe Ring or not. Maybe, just maybe, these rental car companies also have GPS tracking of their cars and not just spotters taking pictures of cars and license plates. Maybe.
I was out there this week doing tourists lap in my car and in the wet some parts wasn't so bad but others you had to watch the lines to where you should to get through it
The word "car" and "investment" do not belong in the same sentence. Buy what you can afford and what you enjoy, for no other reason. Cars are a personal item, this guy speaks the truth.
Your video sucks! Do you know how to shift gears ? This car is not a touring car. To bad you didn't take is around the track, it would have forced you to shift gears at 6 to 9,000 🤨. What a waste of time watching your video !
