We are a custom motorcycle and Hotrod shop in Lake Worth Florida. We specialize in custom hand made Motorcycles as well as individual parts for your custom build. We are Excited to build this new channel which will include Tech videos, fabrication videos, build videos, motorcycle hunting, and whatever other shenanigans we can get into
We just finished on with an Evo. And we are in the middle of a sorta side project build for one of my buddies. Just got the motor parts back from the machine shop... So that will be getting moving pretty soon here. Just like to keep a shop project going most of the time as well.
@GattisGarage , I watched those. Guess I was projecting my thoughts on my next build. I'm mostly a harley guy. Can't go wrong with a hardtail kick only shovel.
I wasnt going to commit on past videos, but son and i are building an 80s honda 3 wheeler, 250 i think, thats gone, have a 92 883 engine for it. Medical reasons keep my from being in the shop as much as i want. Frame modifications are mostly finished. Beefed up the suspension. Should be a fun toy for him.
Just giving you an update. I started a conversation about RU-vid on Greases Garage Facebook page. Join the group, add you name in person. I mentioned you, but I'm one person. Grease has a RU-vid channel also, he's looking for channel supporters, he's kind of geared to new builders . Message him, give his channel a shout out, and others. Again, I don't want the bike, I'd like to see your channel up with the others. Over on Greases Garage, the Facebook account is under my name, Thomas Truesdale. Hopefully you'll see you channel increasing in subscribers soon.
Im mentioning you on other channels im on. Honestly, im not interested in winning the bike. With your content, id like to see your channel do better. Clearly, this is my wifes account. Im just old , retired fabricator, not good with technology. Doing what i can to get your subscribers up.
@GattisGarage , even if was a Harley, I'm just the kind of person that likes to build my own. Yeah, I would think that would get people over to you. Also, I'm kind of brand loyal to Harley. I'll be looking for some parts soon, I'll see what you have. Thanks for the interesting videos.
Interesting. One of my projects 88 sportster, 1250 Hammer kit. Im making stainless mid controls for it. Im trying to make as many parts as i can for it. Sportster videos are kind of cool. 67 sportster was my first bike.
There are a few cool things. Honestly I have lost track. That's why I started doing this. It's really out of hand how much I have so time to move some stuff along. Realistically I should probably part out all this stuff. It's really worth more in Parts than it is as a whole bike.
I've watched all the past videos on this build. In my opinion, this is the proper way to have a harley channel. Your attention to detail is spot on. Being retired and on disability I don't get much time in my shop, so I enjoy seeing others building. Not sure why you don't have more subscribers, this is kind of content I want. But I've also been building bikes for 40 years. Excellent videos. Thank you for posting.
@@laurentruesdale4088 I really don't know why we haven't grown more either. I sometimes wonder if what I show is to technical so the average person doesn't get it? I try to sorta dumb things down so that a person with no knowledge can enjoy as well. But who knows. Sometimes I think it because I'm not very good with the computer end of things and insulation of the Algorithms that get people to see the videos to begin with.
Very nice spacers. Details set it apart. Hopefully you dont mind a tip occasionally. Wheel spacers and such i use dividers, typically used on wood lathes for quick inside diameter. I also use BAM big ass marker at times instead of dykem . Yes thats the name of the markers. Really pleased i found your channel.
Never mind a tip. I sometimes use markers as well. And now I actually have some makers I bought that you can fill with whatever you want and I have dykem in them for quick easy use.
Damn it man, not purple! Lol! All kidding aside, it's really starting to come together. I actually really dig how the handle bars turned out. I can't remember if you mentioned it, but do you have any idea how many miles are on the engine?
No. I don't have any idea on the mileage. But all indications say very little. I'm not sure if the bike ever was really running the tires look to be nearly new. The bike appears to have been assembled and never really used. The wiring was such a mess and the original starter wouldn't turn the motor over due to the high compression. So just guessing but I would imagine very little miles. Give the purple a chance when it gets in the sunlight. It's candy purple. And really is Beautiful. 🤣🤣
@lthutchins9473 when I was younger, much younger. I wanted a purple pan. Never happened. Did make a nice skinny purple shovel. I'm kind of partial to basic black now days.
@@GattisGarage I went through my purple phase 20 years ago. I'll give the purple a chance, but I like my bikes black. I reckon it could be time for purple to make a comeback. Lol!
Just found your channel. I'm enjoying seeing your builds. I'm kind of picky who I subscribe to, I don't like most Harley RU-vid channels. I like quality content. Looking forward to seeing the bike being finished. I'm enjoying watching what you've posted so far. Thanks.
Appreciate that... I also find most of the MC RU-vid channels to be pretty bad or just not very technical which is what I like and try to put out. Happy to know some people are enjoying it.
I know. It's terrible 🤣🤣🤣. Just trying to keep this bike as budget as possible and these things are less to buy then raw materials 🤦🤦 The tag bracket is probably a little overkill but didn't want to unload and load the plasma table 🤣🤣
No we haven't stopped on it. Paused for a bit to do a quicker job for the same customer. We are back on it. Will likely have a new video on it in the next week or two. Be sure to subscribe for updates. Check out some of our other content to keep you busy in the mean time 😁👍
The Rev techs are not more reliable than evos I wouldn't say but they are a good motor. Some people seem to hate on them but I have not ever had any issues with them. Probably be around $7500. When it's done depending on what all we end up doing to it. Trying to keep it simple as possible but definitely gotta paint it. The tins are really rough in person.
