I really like the look of the Dunecrest, but I'm a bit confused: -What is the difference please between the Dunecrest-S and the Dunecrest-L: -Are they the same as the "Dunecrest Rear Micro Camper Awning"? or are they a more recent improved model? -I have a Renault Kangoo Van with Barn Doors. will one of the Dunecrests be suitable please? After just a couple of years light use one of the zips has broken. Also, one of the clips holding the top of the awning to the pole, keeps unclipping itself. I've pitched it correctly but it still happens. Can anyone advise where I can get the zip mended please?

Warum zeigt ihr nicht den Aufbau mit einer standardisierten Markise am California T6.1? So habt ihr das Zelt doch verkauft, dass es an dieser Markise befestigt werden kann oder habe ich da was falsch verstanden?
Bei den Türen können leider sämtliche Arten von Insekten unten ins Zelt krabbeln, was mich bei den Outwell-Zelten maximal stört. Insbesondere Ohrwürmer usw. kommen so perfekt ins Zelt und die findet man dann überall...
Hallo. Ein Video zum Sky6 wäre super. Wir suchen als Familie (5Personen) ein Zelt für das Wochenende, welches aber auch Platz bietet, wenn es regnet. Was wäre eure Empfehlung? Viele Grüße
I have recently purchased one and as an experienced campervanner more use to side awnings, I thought this would be useful for the odd weekend away, when we just wanted a bit of off-van storage at night. We have just used it for 3 nights in Bala, Wales. It was quite a pain to put up given it's size, but we got there and it did the job we wanted. The weather was damp, windy and chilly and the sides do not peg flush to the ground (just like in the video), so there is always a gap, which I can imagine would be a pain in more inclement weather. Yes it's cheap and you get what you pay for, not sure how long it will last given the stretch load on the canvass with the tail gate up all the time. I guess i'll see what it is like at the end of the camping season. Would I buy one again...nah.
Tolles Video. Danke. Ich selbst habe gerade letzte Woche ein Stangenzelt gekauft, wenn auch nicht von Outwell, aber im Aufbau identisch. Eine "Luftvariante" hätte es auch gegeben. Warum habe ich mich für das "Stangenzelt" entschieden? 1. Die Gepäckgrösse im zusammengeleten Zustand. Das "Stangenzelt" ist wesentlich kleiner, trotz identischer Grösse im aufgestellten Zustand. Also im Auto klar ein Pluspunkt. Zweitens der Preis. Kostet wesentlich weniger als die Luftvariante. Und doch........ Auch das "Stangenzelt" kann man duchaus auch alleine aufstellen wenn man weiss wie. Ich habe es ausprobiert. Ist etwas "Tricky" aber es klappt durchaus. Der grösste Vorteil in der "Luftvariante" sehe ich im etwas schnelleren Aufbau und dass dann das Zelt selbständig steht auch ohne Verspannung. Im Notfall könnte ,man dieses also auch auf einem Platz mit Hartbelag aufstellen, was bei der "Stangenariante" unmöglich ist.
Luftzelt ist sehr gut, habe eins , zwar ein anderes, aber es bringt nichts wenn bei einem neuen Zelt gleich das Ventil defekt ist, und die Luft nicht hält. Service schwer zu bekommen
In my experience its always been the valve that leaks where the 2 pieces of fabric meets the plastic. I cant find a nice solution to fix it, I'm sick of waking up on a flat mat but not ready to throw a £120 sleeping mat away. Certainly not in the market to buy another with the same design either.
Pas du tout solide cette marque de tente, j'en ai acheté une une et très peu utilisé. la toile est déjà troué a plusieurs endroit; J'ai essayé de contacté la marque mais aucune réponse.
Mich würde mal interessieren was man so an druck auf diese Luftzelte geben kann bevor etwas passiert, weil wenn man zuwenig luft hat drückt der Wind das ganze Zelt ja zusammen was man aber verhindern kann wenn man mehr druck draufbringt, kennt da jemand eckdaten?
Finally someone who knows how to combine the upper and lower guylines to one peg. Most video's shows seperate guylines and still one peg and then you have to tension them all seperate. Good job.
My question here is can any weight be placed on these tables when folded - this model and Calagary L in particular when placed in a boot to utilise the space? Would it get damaged structuraly when we have our 26kg dog sleeping on it (on his lighweight bed about +2-4 kg) during travel? I'm not taling about table top scratches or damages but more interested whether the edges are aligned well when folder so when weight is placed on it then they can tak it and not slide to any side damaging lightweigh construction.
80% of the Vans I know have a bike carrier on the back including me. Vans are made for an active target group. So it is for me kinda weird that all those great rear-tent applications don´t consider the situation that the backdoor is higher than 205 cm when it is open with the bike carrier on top. Obviously I´m talking about the carrier without the bikes. But the open door might face a height of about 240 cm with the bike carrier on top. Why not producing a model with takes this fact into account? I bet there is quiet a bunch of people out there waiting exactly for such a rear-tent.
Danke für das tolle Video. Frage, kann bei den beiden Vorzelten auf der Fensterseite, also nicht da, wo das Sonnendach ist, ein Sonnensegel für mehr Schatten angeschlossen werden?
Hallo, wir haben noch ein altes Bear Lake 6 mit 65% Baumwolle. Diese neuen Modelle haben ja nur noch 35% Baumwolle. Befürchte eine Verschlechterung des Raumklimas bei einem Neukauf!?
Der Knackpunkt bei diesen Vorzelten ist ja immer entweder schnellerer Auf- und Abbau oder stabileres Stehen. Zweitens die Drive-away-Beweglichkeit. Beim ersteren ist es sicherlich nicht so optimal für den täglichen Standortwechsel. Zum zweiten Punkt: Lösen und Schließen der Schleuse ca. 10-15', inklusive minimalem Lockern und Nachspannen des Hauptzeltes. Zu meinem Erstaunen hat die Anfahrt am Markierungshering fahrerseitig sofort geklappt. Da hatte ich mehr Rangiererei erwartet. Habe das Parkville jetzt die zweite Saison im Gebrauch und bin sehr zufrieden. Am besten gefällt mir der "Pavillon-Charakter". Klasse. Das größte "Problem" waren noch die vielen Reißverschlüsse an den Seiten und vorn. Anfangs zog ich statt "auf", das Moskitonetz hoch oder umgekehrt. Die Reißverschlüsse selber haben eine Topqualität und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, das man die kaputt kriegt. Natürlich sollte man die Zeltabspannung ordentlich machen und nicht beim Schließen der Fenster noch "nachspannen". Es ist wirklich wunderbar, wenn man morgens zum ersten Kaffee die Vorderfront erst einmal nur halb herunter lässt (sie klappt nach innen weg) oder im Laufe des Tages entscheidet den Sonnenschutz links oder rechts zu haben. Selbst das Vordach mit dem Aufstellbügel macht bei Mini-Regen Freude: die Vorderwand komplett geöffnet, es regnet nicht rein, und man sitzt halb-halb, d,h, geschützt und trotzdem irgendwie draußen. Fazit: Kaufempfehlung für Singles und Paare (vllcht die größere Variante).
