Where's the 2nd part..I wanna know about the type of light used for tanning..Duration per day..If the tank colour affects the colour of the fish coz alot of people tell me to use a black tank for tanning..But i see all these videos the reds are either in white tanks or tubs..
Grooming, not Tanning, Bright light May help in Pigmentation to enhance/ brighten scales of the fish.. One in thousand fishes… born with instantly different vibrant scales, etc..I agree most that you said, except the word…. (TANNING).. simply means to darken ….

Helo friend , its important to put white background? And what if my sump is regular not overhead sump so i have an overflow box inside the tank its that ok and what you prefer thank you.
