Chiz and Blose have seen some stuff. Still racing to this day. It’s crazy to see how different the tracks were. It’s like the track builders said we’re just gonna put jumps everywhere and let’s see who can get the most creative. The tracks now are so choreographed that it basically leaves one set line or rythym.
It's not the firmware. It's the fact that the drone is designed for frequent use. Who often turns it on, there is no breakdown. It's all about the chip. It's the over-memory that breaks. It needs to be replaced, and do a lot of tweaks and the drone will pair again. My Karma drone was made by a drone repairman. Now it's back in business. Video at the link. I use the Internet archives to download old software. The way back machine. A lot of devices can't download older software once they are updated though.
I don't own one, but I was considering buying a used one, simply cause I remember seeing their ad years ago and liking the design of it. I ran across your video and I can feel your frustration through the screen. If that is what they did there's just no excuse. I would never want to buy a GoPro product after learning about this. That being said, I found this video and was wondering if it would be helpful to you. I think that they can do nothing because the drone has been gave not more updatable due the last firmware, so any correction of it would be unuseful , they sholud reitire all for repair it in gopro laboratory . Sorry , it will never happen unless they are forced by a judge to open a division dedicated to resolving the fault
Thx for thé video. I bought one when it came out and never used it. Does that mean I never make updates on it to bé sure to use it thé day I decide to test it ?
They made my buy the “go pro subscription 50$” for nothing, she told me that I was able to get a replacement with the subscription… I just got a new email today…. ----------//-///-// Hope this email finds you well. That so odd. I’ve always updated mine to the latest firmwares and they’ve always worked. Do you have the latest firmware on all four devices? Karma Drone, Stabiliser, Camera, and controller? For me it’s: Drone: 2.50.1 Controller: 2.50.1 Stabiliser: 2.00 HERO6 Black: 2.10
I have watched video after video after video on how to update the drone to the 2.50 latest firmware. Do you know where I can find this information? There is one guy that has posted a video but he uses windows and I am a Matt user please help. Thanks!
I have the same problem with my drone they are able and they don't help you tell that they no longer have to replace them and that they can't do anything that they don't have technicians to fix them
I hear ya and that place is chewed up so bad that it's all rocks! Endless rock gardens! It's so bad that I don't even like riding there anymore. There's sections on the lower half that weren't as bad but I have no desire to pounded by rocks for hours! It's dangerous as hell, boring and not my cup of tea. I've been there lots of times and had my fair share of it. I'm interested in exploring new places and getting my bike ready to do some longer distances out of CT!
No I don't believe it will automatically update when connected to the internet but not 100 sure. If you haven't updated to the final "grounding" then don't ever do it! Your drone will become totally useless and never pair again! I had thousands into my GoPro drone and ended up selling it all for $300. Disappointed wasn't even the word to describe how I felt.
So Go Pro is the last one, releases software updates for the KARMA drones that destroy the drone and then stand up and say the support has expired. You pay 1500 euros for a drone that is destroyed by GoPro firmware and GoPro does nothing. All I can say was before GoPro's products and GoPro's customer support. NEVER BUY GOPRO PRODUCTS AGAIN. I will hang mine from the ceiling as a reminder never to buy GoPro stuff again.
Yes they have totally screwed all of us. I'm in the middle of a back and forward with their CS at the moment. First they say your firmware isn't up to date and email you instructions on how to manually update it, Then an email on how to pair it. When that doesn't work, they ask for the serial number, and a photo of the serial number on the drone (not that they don't trust you, they just need proof you own the drone). Then they ask for proof of purchase (yeah right!) I bought mine in 2018 but still had the case slip with the price sticker on it so sent that. Last email I had was asking for the actual receipt as what I sent them didn't have the year of purchase on it. I've asked them to stop playing games, and to either fix the problem or send me a replacement drone. I don't hold out much hope. I even took out a GoPro subscription to see if that would help my case, but so far it hasn't. At the end of the day they know what they've done. They grounded these drones deliberately just as covaids started, so maybe there's some things they don't want us to see!!
