It is also the color of royalty, history wise And the fan base considers purple to be the stealthy color for the Orks (Have ya ever seen a purple Ork?)

The living TS arent really tainted by chaos so they definitely have the ability to do good things. The Rubric marines are the ones who were really affected by Tzeentch in which they had mutations going on prior to the Rubric of Ahriman. All the psykers/sorcerers of the legion remained fairly unscathed. Also remember the sons of the legion did not choose to fall to chaos. It just happened to be their only salvation because of their brain dead primarch and those stupid furry space wolves trying to kill them all. They would have been one of the best loyalist legions to the emperor had it not been for the events prior.
@@SlaaneshM30 yeahhhhh, they recently admitted to grooming someone several years back. Apparently they’ve done some redemption arc over the past years and considering both no one else has come forward and that he had no reason to actually admit it (zero available evidence and it was only a single person saying it so no one would believe them over stringstorm) I’m inclined to believe him. I also really love some of his songs so I’m a bit biased. He put out two videos about it but I just went through comments to figure everything out without watching them because I’m lazy so I don’t have any details on them.
I like that the Thousand Sons Astarte specifically said "Rylanor deserves better than you," like in that moment, Rylanor's loyalty and tragedy moved him enough to decide to lay down his own life just to help Rylanor get revenge.
