Did you not measure? All that pro looking work and you didnt even get the hole aligned properly. Done right you wouldnt need that flex tube that catches lint.
They connect quite nicely the first time, but what happens when you pull out the laundry stack for any repairs, cleaning? The magnet won't release and you'll just end up stretching out the vent and it will look like a limp dick and you wont be able to reattach it like you did originally. Once the vent is stretched out it doesn't compress back to it's original shape.
The bigger the pan the harder the float will be , I still float small pans like 3x3 or 3x5 because I can do them for like 100 in material and less than 2 hours work . Anything larger I spend the extra money
At night put your car keys in a zip bag in a cereal box Etc in your cupboard, burglars could spend all nught in your house and never find them. Or put something that looks odd and out of olace on your wall to attract their attention and show them where they should take a look.
