Say, I am using the same valve but I have been given values to start the valve travel at 11 and 13 psi as my full travel. Should I adjust the spring tension first according to these values or should I do on the positioner?
The actuator should have a rated benchset and travel distance. When the control valve assembly was engineered, the actuator specs were selected based on the force required to operate the valve. This test verifies the actuator performs according to the original design. The positioner reduces the error that is a result of mechanical friction.
Im having issues with a valve currently for leaking by. Hard to find the right kits or someone is not getting the right info for them. Is there a website or something to find the right kits? Based in west texas.
Dear sir. I have two probes with different part number, PN: 86691-08065-0435-25 and PN:86691-09246-0435-25. I only know they are 2.5 m length but i am not sure they can be used interchangeably. Is it possible? What are their differences?
I don't have that manual, so I cannot say for certain. From a performance standpoint it should work. Difference will be in the custom features. Such as mounting options, length of armored jacket, etc..
hello, when i connect the power supply 24VDC positive to the com and negative to the Vt(-24 VDC) it creates an alarm on the power supply and shut down the power supply. Please advice on wiring?
Thank you very much for the information, although I have a question, at minute 2:24 you put the value of 1 in the voltage column. why 1? What shouldn't be 10mil*200mV= 2V?
The jams keep the connection block in place In most applications, the feedback arm connects to the block. In some cases, even a slight rotation can create feedback error or loss of position indication.
Hi thanks for the video ! We bought a couple of these fisher control valves and we noticed that they don't all have the same bench set values, what's the reason for this ? I also noticed that you did your bench set from 9 to 15 psi, so when will the valve start to move? Is it 9 psi or 3 psi?
Dear Jim thanks for video, I only have two questions, at the end we obtained values that were out of tolerance, right? And this was probably because we use other extension cable model, right? In advance thanks for your response! And good job!! 🤘
Some have a line on the body that has a downward angle, which represents the flow path through a globe valve. That may be what you are referring to. This alone does not indicate flow however, but for general service, you install with the angled downward part facing up stream so the flow enters below the plug and flows up through the port.
Excuse me sir. My name is agus. I have some question related with vibration system. 1. Whats the function for minus DC power supply? 2. Whats correlation between DC power supply and AC power supply which generated by probe?
Answer 1: The polarity doesn't matter unless you are a transistor, which in this case is why the polarity is reversed. For the purpose of understanding how it works, it makes little difference.
Answer2: Think of the AC as DC with a wave. Normal AC changes polarity, this doesn't. You just have to switch a meter to AC to measure the dynamics of the sinewave that is created. It's AC with a voltage bias.
A solenoid valve-discrete valve activated by a magnetic coil. In a control valve it is commonly used to interrupt air supply and force to a fail state.
