Weekly fishing videos, bass tournament footage and fishing related content highlighting Missouri,Illinois and Kentucky fisheries and how I approach them.I talk about current lake conditions and details so if someone wants to fish these lakes they can show up with an idea of what's going on.Most of the lakes I fish are small and have very little information about them.I'm trying to shed light on the lesser known so other anglers can enjoy them as much as I do! I do most of my fishing out of a 14 foot jon boat, have a family and a normal job just like most other fisherman out there.I hope these videos motivate people to go out and experience the great outdoors, catch more fish and most importantly have fun doing it!Life is short..get out there and enjoy it! Fishing videos from local lakes in Missouri,Kentucky and Illinois including Cedar Lake,Crab Orchard,Duck Creek,Little Grassy,Lake of Egypt,Kentucky Lake,Robert G Delaney A.K.A.Upper Big Lake and more to come. Looks like that 3 hour delay got you there right on time. I was surprised you didn't put a trailer hook on the Spinnerbait. Going to that small swimbait clinched it for some good ones.
Love a spinner bait. I prefer to fish mine with a trailer. Rage menace or swim bait. Sorry about your tire! When is the last time you repacked your wheel bearings?
Good catching. I love spinnerbait fishing when they'll bite it. I also blew a trailer tire going to Cedar months back and a guy who lived nearby came to help us. He had a floor jack and impact wrench. Fortunately, my spare was good but I ruined my tire. Glad you got some good help. God bless you.
I love a good spinnerbait bite. I think it is becoming more of a player than the chatterbait some days. Fish have seen alot of chatters the past 10 or so years.
Hey brother I been watching your videos for a while and it always amazes me how humble and genuine person you are keep doing what your doing brother God bless you and your family 🙏
Thanks buddy. I appreciate this comment a bunch. Fishing is one of my happy places and I’m blessed to be able to spend time on the water and share the adventures with folks. Thanks for the support and God bless
Watching this, I get aggravated with myself. I have a bunch of spinnerbaits, but I don’t fish them for some reason. Next time out, it’ll be all about the willows and Colorado blades!
The way those fish were just moving the line, you could make a slight lyric change to the Johnny Cash song, "Because you're mine, I (watch) the line". Finley doesn't slack at all on guard duty.
Jig for the win. My favorite jig setup this time of year is a 1/2oz football in GP Brown and a GP Chigger Craw. Been getting some solid fish on it the past couple weeks. Good video Gabe!
man i think no action trailers are best. cuz if they're aggressive they should eat action no action the same. and if they're not aggressive no action gets the nod. only time i can see action really making a difference is really muddy water. idk tho i could be wrong. just makes sense to me.
Great vid Gabe! Love a jig bite. Do you have any lakes around you where you could do a football jig video? Off shore type stuff. I'm trying to learn the old football jig better. Thanks!
I like listening you guys talked about back in the day I hear it all the time here. Oven bass fishing pretty seriously for 14 years. And I grew up bass fishing before that obviously with uncles. All of our lakes are not what they used to be I don't think any of them are going to ever get better. The fact of the matter is there's too many boats now and too many fishermen and not enough water. I don't think we'll ever see the hay day that they did in the 80s and 90s on a lot of these lakes
Glad you enjoyed it. The favorite part of my fishing day is sharing stories and creating memories with a friend. I think you are right about the good ole days.
That had to be a fun trip flipping all that juicy looking cover. That one fish was crazy how it came out of the water like it did. Another good video Gabe!
I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO WIRE MY LIVESCOPE....WHAT WIRE GOES WHERE....I STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW TO WIRE IT. WHAT IS THE BLUE OR GRAY FOR AND WHAT IS THE BROWN WIRE FOR
You made statement trying a bunch of different stuff. I really like watching that part of a video. See different baits and techniques and tips. Helps the viewer and makes it informative and interesting. Keep it up.
When I saw the title, my ears perked right up to full attention, Hahaha. Post front Pad fishing, how about that, on a Texas rigged craw, you even lassoed one, if that ain't Texas style, Lol.
That used to be my biggest confidence bait. Seems like they have changed over the years. They don't seem as tender as they used to be. Might just be me.
