I have been testing a few cards using the base shell of this deck. Must say the deck performs allot better using a Archfiend's Vessel and Not dead after all. Return your Slasher with no counters and also the Vessel for a bonus 5/5 Demon.
didn't opponent miss lethal game 1? sac tree deal 1 damage to nasif, let meathook gain 1 resolve, respond to tree damage by sokenzan put spirits in, activate cauldron on spirit, make life total 2, sac spirit to deal net 1, then the tree 1 damage kills him?
During round 1 when the guy flashed in the exiling wolf, what he could have done was either field of ruin or eat a zombie in response, triggering revolt and push the exiling wolf before the ability resolved, and since it's a banishing light effect and not an oring one, the demon would have never been exiled and thus lethal that turn.
So recently I heard somebody saying that the right number of bowmasters is probably two, with all the extra card draw this seems like a great deck for the student
