@SixthGearMotorcycles thank you mate Was good enough for stock sound My bike is rocket 3 R 2024 chrome and I m in love. Now my target is the Rocket iii😁
I traded in my 2015 Monster stripe just like this one for the new Monster 937 when it came out in 2021. The 821 was nice but a bit heavy and clunky with a bad turning circle. The new monster feels like your riding an enduro bike it is so nimble and now with a great turning circle. Nice get up and go too.
I'm rocking a set of 2MOER10S since they fit in my application and in theory would be suited to the type of engine and driving I do. They arrived pregapped to .020... or should I say just under that. I'm not sure if they've done that to mitigate any damage to the "on plug ignition coils" since these are low resistance sparkplugs. The car does idle rough and doesn't seem to like them when it comes to spike throttle acceleration. Ease into it, and it's about the only time the engine really comes to life. I'll be trying the Iridium+ next and if I don't get the performance I'm looking for I'll just stick to what I know works. I'm just looking for that little extra umph in power at the top end and I feel there is something in the combustion that can be fine tuned via special/specific sparkplugs. These are definitely better than the ones I tried previous from BriskRacing.
in first gear it will judder you will need to get the up graded clutch plates ,there's only two to change .standerd size is 0.20 you will need 0.23 this will stop the judder and hesitation
Hi mate, I did find one company but they wanted to change the fuel system to fuel injection which makes the setup a lot easier. I didn't follow through with it though 👍
Hi mate, I'm still about. I've not had time for making any vids sadly, there's been a lot going on. I'll try make a vid at some point to explain. I still make regular posts on Twitter, Instagram & threads though. All the best, Griz 😎🙏
Id rather brentune my shit every single time, this is way more work for weaker results, im kinda pissed i gotta do the reverse process of this bc the guy i bought the bike from has one on it.
Hi I have a Monster 1200s Just adjusted my rear brake pedal as it was hitting my exhaust. Alas I now have a binding rear brake. Would you consider being paid to look at/fix my rear brake ? Distance might be an issue. I am in Cardiff. Cheers
Thanks now I’m going home to fix my rear brakes on my 2012 hayabusa. My brake locked on the bike when I was riding. Now I’m going to take it apart. Thanks for the video.
Def wouldn't describe it as "comfy and roomy" lol, it's about as harsh as an r6.... proper relaxed body position and it's not that bad. Thinking of picking one up tho they're cheap even good ones and so beautiful.
hey man looks like you know your way around bmws, when I got to shift up on my quick shifter it feels locked and won't shift up unless I use the clutch to shift and ideas or tips????? thank you
I own an old 644 R30 super moto, nothing but trouble with the electrics, and a real pig to ride gonna change the gearing see if that helps. Would never own another one, nothing british about these bikes only the name, parts are from all different parts of europe.
Apparently, there is an A66 just above Bowes in Co.Durham where a 'busa can stretch it's legs without any unwanted attention. I'll get a clever TRE just so I can say I've got the bike up to it's full potential. 👍👍
You have clearly never rode a motorbike in the dry let alone the wet be it with or without ABS lol I've rode most of my 37 years on 2 wheels riding on the road without ABS in all seasons
It's not long before cyclists overtaking motorists become an everyday occurrence driving through a village when the next UK labour government replaces all 30 limits with a 20 limit in all towns and villages just like they did in Wales
Hi Griz, first time coming across your channel, and i love the build!! I've got a question - on your front brake master cyclinder you have that direct feed from the reservoir with no hose. I have the same set of nissin bodies i want to use on my fzr and would greatly appreciate if you mentioned where you got those direct feed type reservoirs. Apologies if you said this somewhere and i missed it!
I lower all my bikes 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch in the rear and whatever i can get in the front. Let me just say i notice NOTHING in handling changes, NOTHING in high speed stability, im not sure what ppl are talking about when they say, you cant lower the bike that much it wont work if you do... It's all bullshit guys
Definitely needed to grease the the bearing housings before installing the bearings… However, the brake side wheel bearing must always go in first, right up against the shoulder… install the spacer, then install the sprocket side bearing second… there needs to be clearance between the shoulder and the bearing… in other words, the bearing doesn’t sit up exactly on the shoulder… the distance from the outside of the wheel to the bearing should be about 14mm, and the clearance between shoulder and bearing roughly 0.9mm. The bearing shoulders are actually smaller than the spacer, so if you press the bearings onto the shoulder they won’t spin, and won’t be long before you have to replace them, perhaps the outer bearing will collapse first… but as I said, the right hand bearings always needs to be installed first, that goes for rear and front wheels… Rental make aluminium sprockets, it’s not right for your bike… it won’t last 5 minutes…
