I was a bit of a weirdo. It took me a few years to really get sports in general. I was a 96 baby. My dad was a comerica bank exec, so I was used to going to wings games, tigers games, pistons games etc (fully well recognize the privilege involved therein as an adult), but those sorts of experiences never really registered for me as a kid. The first time I ever remember sports registering as a “thing” for me was when we went to the first game of the 2007 michigan football season, aka the apalachian state game. I remember my father absolutely radiating fury in the aftermath of that game. To the degree that he scared other people away Watching michigan win this game was truly kne of the most cathartic experiences of my life. My first sports memory was my father radiating anger over losing to appalachian state, and then as an adult I get to see us win a title. Truly glorious

I still cannot this all happened. So much disappointment in the playoffs or title games. Baseball, Basketball, Softball, Hockey and this happened. I was more relieved at the end of this game not as much excited.

Mitch T was a pro bowl Qb who took us to the playoffs twice! The entire city was down his throat! However, Justin Fields is a joke QB and god awful! Since Justin is black, no one came after him for his play! Everyone on sports center didn’t say a bad thing about him despite how trash he is because they support black athletes even when they are garbage! God forbid if we say his play as an athlete is awful because that automatically makes you a racists! What a joke!
