The reason for no salt is the fact that most over weight people have high blood pressure. So salt will raise the blood pressure and cause swelling that stops a person from wanting to walk to loss there weight. Im a person with edma really bad so salt is a no go for me... But i love the fact that your trying the recipes and giving us a viedo of the food thats he want patients use. Im totally gonna try.. mind over matter....

Dr nows diet reminds me of when im trickling back into ED habits. Lol Today i made baked chicken and a cucumber salad ha ha. For my cucumber salad I do 1 cucumber, 2 tsp dill, 1/4 of an onion, 5 tbsp Greek yogurt, salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of either lemon or white vinegar. I get that people on this show need to lose as much as possible quickly but part of me wonders if some of the people end up developing an ED in the opposite direction.
