Man I almost bought one of these as a project car kind of wanted to do a vip land yacht but nevermind I’m mechanically inclined but this cars issues just aren’t worth the headache.
Broooo, you saved my ass here with that jump start location, had my car dead for 3 days,i knew there had to be a place to connect the plus wire but couldnt find it
If the key is stuck in the ignition with no power you can pop that little rectangular panel off beside the keyhole. There is a button there that you can push in with a paperclip or something. Turn the key with the button pressed in and the key will release. My battery died with the key ignition while back and this worked like a charm.
Hi. I knew about key in ignition. I'm not a techy, just an owner of a 2009 S8 in the UK. Not the ignition the trunk lid. The key hole is up under, where numberplate lights are.
Just got an '04 A8, but has Japanese MMI (no radio and some Japanese menus). Do I have to take it to the dealer to change to an Eng version, or can I update the MMI myself?
I believe in the settings there is a way to change it back to English my mmi is currently down so I'm not able to give you exact directions on how to change it I'm sorry
Hi I like you to hit me up. My blower motor stop working. So I put new one and I order the resistor to but I’m still waiting for resistor to see if that helps. And I found a fuse number 44 30 amp that says heater fan on passenger side panel when you open door. It s was blown so I put a 25amp fuse temporary But the blower still won’t go on. And all the control lights are on when pressing ac on to high or low inside the car that control panel is on working.. So I been going crazy to found blower fuse. I thinking is fuse under driver or passenger feet panels where I have to remove the panels under driver Steering wheel and glove department
The batteryto the keyfob could be dead be warned though that changing the battery will cause the key to forget the car and might not work it happened to me once after changing the battery and 2 weeks later randomly started working
Thank you so much for posting this about secondary jump point. Was a big help because I cannot get into my trunk rn long story short. Do you happen to know if the starter motor relays were under there as well?? I can't seem to find them and need to pop them and run a continuity test to see if they are bad. Mine is a 2009 A8L. Trying to figure out why car clicks a few times after battery has went dead when jumping it. No crank at all trying to jump the car with another battery having 860CCA.
What do you do when you bought a new Air lift system air rise pump and it still does not work and you have checked all the spark plugs oops and you checked all the wires
Good question, theirs a relay underneath the steering wheel you have to drop the airbag panel and it's right in there there are other videos I've seen that will show exactly where and how to access the relay
My battery keeps going dead over night an i just purchased it💔 I seen the second jump point 🤟🏾 that was new info 🙏. My Audi is also running very rough HEEEEEELLLLPPPPP PLEASE
@@nelzurc6161 Hi and thanks for the video. About that secondary Jump point so is it possible to charge battery via that or can you try to jumpstart car with jumpstarter like Telwin by connecting red+ and black-? Thanks
@jan zuu, I don't know if charging it from there is exactly the best idea I personally would only use this method of jumping in extreme cases like when the battery dies and key is stuck in the ignition
When you stick the saw blade under the bonnet you should be able to feel where the latch actually sits just be cautious before you actually start sawing otherwise you can catch the actual bonnet
The problem of water inside is the 2 drain holes unther the A/C filter box 😉👍 take a endoscopic cam and check there.. the box have 4 small holes that is for drain the water if it pass the A/C filter ..when the 2 draining holes under the box are clogged..the A/C box start to fill up.. best regards my friend let me know when you found the 2 drain holes.. can be accessed under the engine they drain on the 2 side of the gearbox or with a endoscopic cam from the side of the A/C box 😉👍
I understand what you mean but I actually found a sweet spot when you take off the driver side tire it's literally the smallest opening but it leads directly to the drain closest to the driver's side I stuck a bar through push 2 times and bye bye clogged drain the tricky drains have to be the sun roof drain where I actually took a hose from a asthma machine slipped down through the drains and used a air hose to forcefully push the clog
