I'm listening to this again! As I'm listening, I was thinking back to what the Beatles were doing at the time, and there's no comparison There's a long debate about who's the best, the Beatles or the Stones, and I don't get it because they produce completely different music. I don't want to call the Beatles more of a pop sound because I think their stuff was more serious than that, but with a handful of exceptions, they just were not hard rock. I got into an ex one time because we were talking about who was the better band to dance to, with him claiming it was the Beatles! I couldn't stop laughing!

When I considered releasing my recordings to the public, I thought no one would be interested in the worn tapes sitting for fifty years in my bureau drawer. But no. Here you are coming back to listen again. Thank you for lifting my day!
@@dianestrauss9699 So glad you kept the tape in that bureau drawer! You can buy their music but it's not the same as this, brings me back to what I felt THEN! The fact that it's playable after 50 years gives me hope of a cassette tape I have of my daughter singing when she was 2!
@@patdavidson7520 I agree, the live audience recordings brings back all those feelings of excitement! Concerning the cassette of your daughter's singing, it's most important to keep it in a cool dry place. My tapes have always been in a regular living space, like a bedroom or closet. So avoid placing your cassette in a hot or damp place like an attic or basement. It's not unusual for magnetic tape to last a long time. Some brands have inherent flaws like sticky shed issues. But most likely, yours will be fine for decades with proper storage.
Wikipedia has the answer to why he didn't hit it big. I do want to encourage you and all fans to purchase his later albums, especially Seed of Memory and River, which are nothing short of masterpieces. Lots more Terry on my page, check out his latest shows. He's still got it!
Thumbs down because of the idiot guys nearby that won't shut the H up while Keith is singing this great song. Many a great video capture has been ruined by idiots in the audience like this that can't simply enjoy the concert without running their F'g mouths.
A thumbs down doesn't affect the guys who were talking, they will never know about your irritation (I was irritated also). But it does affect my channel rating. Please show some kindness to me and remove the thumbs down.

Nice recording? This is one of the only nice recordings. The chatter from folks behind and in front of me ruined most of my videos, not to mention the drunk woman who fell on me three times 😵💫

Wow! He died on my first birthday. I always wondered what the coverage was and how the general public reacted. This is a good report. It is very sad that it became a trend in rock to typecaste the rock artist as self destructive.
