Nothing's achieved without squares. Actually, I randomly looked up the Australian Paris Olympic break dancer' s birth date. She has Saturn squares! I thought she was unique and creative. People are just very brainwashed about what the moves should look like. So, perhaps the scene was not right for her definite creativity. However, traditional breakdance is more of an expression of kind of gymnastic skills.

Mercury retrograde has been bringing up old baggage and patterns for me. I'm so excited that the weeks after will be an opportunity to start fresh with new clarity.
My CERES is at 25 Aquarius and my CHIRON is at 28 Aquarius. My URANUS is at 25 LEO. So the FULL MOON is conjuncting my CERES/ CHIRON (in my 10th) while the SUN is conjuncting my URANUS in my 5th (which transiting URANUS - in my 2nd - is t-SQUARING this natal opposition I have}. The RULER SATURN at 17 PISCES is in my 12th - making lots of aspects in my chart: My SUN is at 16:40 Sag. In the 9th. My MOON at 17:40 Leo. In the 5th. My MARS at 16:20 Cancer. In the 4th My Saturn at 17 Cap. In the 10th. So the Mars Jupiter conjunction will be OPPOSING my natal SUN from the 3rd. While SATURN has been SQUARING my SUN a bit more LONGER term, but also SEXTILING my natal SATURN and TRINING my natal MARS. (Venus will form an ENVELOPE) But the conjunction also SEXTILES my MOON which TRINES my natal SUN natally. As VENUS gets in on the act of this GRAND CROSS with my SUN from Virgo (my 6th), it will TRINE my SATURN and SEXTILE my MARS. Lots of ACTIVATIONS. Difficult to know how to interpret all these symultaneous aspects... It looks like, in my chart, the GRAND CROSS (with my SUN) is also surrounded by TRINES and SEXTILES .

On the 16th I will be on a foreign country very far from home with my husband we're both cancer risings I wonder what those days would look like for us! 😅
This was really interesting and you always explains things so well so that it makes complete sense. Cazimi is supposed to be two planets within 17 minutes or within one degree in Hellenistic I believe, but what if they are in “within” one degree but not in the same degree? I know someone with the Sun, Saturn and Pluto all at 12 degrees Leo. Is there such a thing as a three planet combo Cazimi? I have my Sun and Uranus in the same degree (only three minutes apart). It is an outer planet, does it count as a Cazimi? 🌞🪷
Hi - I personally don't consider the outer planets as being influenced by cazimi/combustion as they are not visible to the naked eye and so we don't see them change from visible/not visible the way we do with other planets. You can have more than one planet cazimi at once - like Mercury + Venus, if they are both near enough to the Sun. I have Jupiter in Gemini at 0 degrees of the 5th house. Exploring and embracing all the ideas about fun and creativity is definitely one of the fundamental lessons I am learning in this life and I feel it strongly during this transit.
Thanks Kelly! Could you talk about retrograde planets in the birth chart and if the significations are different? For example my grandmother is a Virgo rising with mercury retrograde, and I’m a Leo rising with retrograde Jupiter in the first house. I think I come across very Jupiterian, but I notice that fifth house topics do seem to be in abeyance… for example I’ve never really enjoyed games/struggle “get” the idea of fun and leisure, have never dated or had much romantic experience (I’m currently 33), and doubt that I’ll want children. With Jupiter in the first house it seems like all these things should be very prominent in my life, but does the retrograde change things?
HI - Just having Jupiter in the first isn't a guarantee that you would be upbeat etc, whether it's retrograde or not. The placement of the Sun (as the ruler of the ASC) would be super important to consider, plus other factors like sect and aspects (to both the Sun and Jupiter), plus any other important planets in your chart. @@KellysAstrology Thanks for replying! Yes, my ascendant ruler (the sun) is conjunct Saturn in Capricorn, so that definitely puts a damper on my first house Jupiter, lol, but I was more wondering in general if retrograde planets in the birth chart have any special or different significations…
Thanks Kelly! As a fellow 1991 Capricorn I love Arlene’s question. Arlene and I are almost birthchart twins except that I’m a Leo rising. Even though I definitely don’t think we’re doomed, having so much Capricorn energy, especially in one of the more difficult houses, can definitely feel heavy at times. One of my best friends is born just a few weeks before me (so she’s in the same Saturn ruled boat) and she also has been through a lot of challenges and always finds herself having work so hard for things. However we connect over an ability to persist and enjoy a slightly grim sense of humor 😈

Great advice on how to learn astrology! I was one of those people who bounced around on Ytube. So much wasted time. If you're serious, take a serious 1 - 2 year course especially if you're interested in a more rigorous doctrine focussed practise like Hellenistic.

Hello Kelly, you didn't say what triggers something to happen in the progressed chart. I've also heard that if it not promised in the natal, it won't happen in the progressed, have you found that to be true?

Recently my progr Sun come in Sag and transit jupiter i the 1th but I have balsamic moon in sco - I am 50, hormon-trasition in my body... And I have started a new education (Turism- Sag) last year. "New body", new occupatition, traveling and new place to live in 2-3 years at new Moon. 😊
I currently have transit Saturn conjunct my moon at 17 Pisces, conjunct my Chiron at 18 Pisces, opposite my Pluto at 17 Virgo, opposite my Uranus at 18 Virgo, square Mars at 22 Sagitarius and will retrograde back to my Saturn at 10 Pisces and square my Ascendant at 10 Sagitarius. I need help 😫

Thanks Kelly, lots of good information. The examples are very helpful. Next year, within a couple of months my progressed sun will move into Scorpio, and my progressed Venus will cross my late Libra ASC. I did notice a distinct difference when my progressed sun moved into Libra from Virgo, that was a big year for me. I have an early Virgo sun so unless I live to my mid 80's, it won't go into Sag. But if I do...I'll be a fun old lady with a big mouth🤣 Interestingly, with the day for a year, my maternal grandfather died 30 days after I was born. My mother died when I was 30 years old.
