Good afternoon, I just discovered your video. Great modifications to your Kubota. I like how you modify to make life easier on the tractor. I am from NS, Princess Auto is one of my favorites. Thanks so much, I really enjoyed the video 👍Happy New Year, Ben
Thanks, Ben. I did a few more mods over the last year. I am also building a trailer to move the BX around with some special mods i have never seen before. Im hoping to do another video soon. Best wishes for the new year.
Just Subscribed and like your Mods. Please explain the peddle on your diff lock. It looks great and a couple times I've tried to use mine it is difficult to hit with big boots on.
I just sent a comment but I don’t think it went through 🤷🏼♂️🤣. Thanks for sharing all the mods you made to your BX, I love them 👍🏻great job 👍🏻. Thanks for the shoutout, much appreciated 👍🏻. Where are you located in Canada? Have a great one 👍🏻🙂
Hi Luc, Thanks for your comment. I live in Port Alberni BC on Vancouver Island. I am hoping to do another video in the next next few weeks now that the weather is getting warmer. Thanks for taking the time to post your great videos. It it greatly appreciated.👍
@@drtcurt You’re pretty far away from where I am, I looked it up on Google, looks like beautiful area 👍🏻. I think the Samurai Carpenter is in that area. I just subscribed so I don’t miss your next video 👍🏻🙂🙋🏼♂️
Wowwww.... what a great video! Thank you so much for sharing! I`ve not seen a BX23s with so many great mods on it. You did a fantastic job installing everything.
How's she goin'? You have made some really nice mods to your Kubota!! I like the Auxbeam controls for your auxiliaries. I have a Massey Ferguson GC2300 and have made several mods to it too. It sure is nice to make the mods and make the tractor more 'yours'. It makes it easier to operate and I find if it's easier to operate we do a better job. The folding canopy is some slick too. Thanks for sharing and take 'er easy!!!
One thing I see you are missing is the weights on your polley wheels. This creates rotational momentum to crush. When the wheels gets a bit of time off, it increases in speed and this energy is stored in the mass of the wheels to better crush next time there is an increase in load. You don't seem to have that.
Great video! I just wish I found you 5 years ago. Most of the links in the below are broken. Any chance you have plans on any of the stuff you built? Thanks
Sorry Matt I don't It's all trial and error. It's been a long time and most of the business have closed over the years. The sad thing is all that stuff is sitting in a shed collecting dust just no time anymore to spend time looking for gold.. Thanks
Hi Josh, I have still not finished the conversion and have got out of the hobby last summer so all my savage parts are for sale. Im only interested in selling it all together im not going to sell parts separately. I have well over $2,000 into it and enough parts to build a xl flux and a savage 25 with a new engine. If your interested make me a offer. Thanks.
That was great! have you gone back to get some real study/flying time in? I put 4 hours total flight time in on a Cessna 172. it's pretty darn cool, but I'm looking into helicopter classes, especially after viewing your post! Thanks for posting this brother! liked and subbed :)
Yup great idea. but well, if we don't try a great idea... have you done anything with this? I have the 650, 650 Sport and 680 Pro. I tried this on my 650 and to no avail... I did however stack the ESC's inside the 650, while the others are under the motor mount. I may go back (pain in the ass) and move them to the motor mounts. Not lab tested but once they reach a certain temp., it fly's sluggish. The indicators lights start to stay red also, err. I never get the red indicator on the external mounted esc's, running Castle Creations 35A btw.
Daz2372 I was referencing mounting the ESC's in the body. Two builds with the esc's in the body, a Tarot Ironman 650 and a Tarot 650 Sport. After burning more than two battery packs all within say 60 minutes, both would get sluggish. I wasn't sure what that was and swapped a few (other parts) thinking that was the problem but it still did it. I could never do the "touch heat test" because they were mounted inside. At the test field my 650 Sport just dropped hovering at 6 feet" on its 3rd flight. I went for the walk of shame to get it and heard beeping. The beeping came from my Castle Creations 35amp esc's. I got home and looked up the code, it was excessive heat... All my builds have the esc's under the motors now. 650 Sport, 680 Pro, T810 and have been too lazy to get to the Ironman 650. I will someday, but not today LOL Happy New Year brother!
Daz2372 I hate to say it, but more things can go wrong then right building these (LOL to keep from crying) It's a great hobby for me though, it keeps me thinking. :)
XB I have found an interesting read m.imgur.com/a/52nVb The only reason I ask why is because i have this 690s/680 hex. I have removed the top 690 plate and replaced the modified clamps. Ordered a 680 top plate so i can use stand off posts and holes line up and i can use canopy mounts.
i had 1210 sg 2 of them was gonna put them in my e-maxx cause i have 40 series mudslingers was told 2 is overkill and go with 1211 sg and are you using the stock radio from traxxas ?
I should mention that I have recently decided to get out of the hobby so everything you see in my hobby room is for sale if you see something your interested in let me know.
Sorry for the delay getting back to you. Yes this was my first time flying. BC helicopters has a introductory flight which gives you a 1 hour flight with your hands on the controls and you get around 1/2 hour flying it yourself. Check out his RU-vid channel a Pilot Yellow. This is Andrew Jackson's flight in the same G2 with Mischa the owner. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X6uFfmsj6fg.html
Wow, you got skills. very nice setup. all away around. I need a rock crusher and was thinking about building one two. great job. good luck with your hunting.
Hey, was just commenting on ur other vid about this sub. Do you have a particular website u know of that sells these? I cant seem to find one. I built a triangle-tubular style sub, which is too bouyant lol. You can see pics of it here. (img42.com/8B63y) (img42.com/avIIa)
so I had a quick look and the sub has been discontinued most of the stores are out of stock. I did find one on ebay still for sale $699 US. It depends on where you live in the world if you can find one or not Good luck...
drtcurt oh no! that sucks. idk why they'd stop if to was so good. I mean what other sub can u get with an active bouyancy control system at that price. even openrov is nuetral bouyancy with vertical thrusters and it goes for $1000. shame.....i live in singapore btw
most of the big box RC stores stock them. The video is ran threw a cable from the sub to my monitor. If you look at some of my other videos I have some of the sub and how I modified the video cable. If you have any others questions feel free to ask. Thanks
I think Jeff Williams would be flattered that you made your own mill. You should post this video on one of his videos. He'd like it I bet. You're a builder for sure !!
Thanks and we like to blast to and Slim has his FEL so he likes his packaged emulsions , me I like Bulk . Like the magnet tube on the cube ....good idea. Like the Gold lab , really nice work. If you are still in the market then these guys are in Canada and sell everything. Ask for David and tell them Jeff and Slim sent you, they will take good care of you. www.911metallurgist.com/equipment/
Hi ! Good video and good work! I I know the feeling that in the end you didnt save so much money by doing it your self, but the experience is worth alot, it also helps you understand the function of it. Knowlidge is not heavy to carry...My respect for your very nice work!!
