Many of my videos are crude. Sometimes in language, sometimes in assembly, sometimes both. Rather than real videos, they're more like radio with pictures. In many cases, literally. I also have a fondness for podcasts and my feed includes edits of my favourites.
Most of my channel's content comes from listening to cassettes before discarding them. If I hear a piece of old radio I think may be interesting or entertaining, I’ll upload it. I also like to share songs not already on RU-vid. Like myself, my feed is quite random. In January 2015, reviewing one of my "Comedy Bang! Bang!" edits, Kyle Daly of The AV Club called my channel "possibly the world’s weirdest mixtape" (news.avclub.com/listen-to-every-scott-aukerman-ben-schwartz-duet-from-c-1798275708), so while you may have to skip through uploads of no interest, hopefully you will find something to entertain you as much as whatever brought you here.
They were planning on making the Road To The Fountain Of Youth when Bing died in Spain. This is the closest we'll ever get to knowing how that might have looked.
Bogie died in 1957, but Parkie didn't start on air until 1966, so sadly, he didn't have an opportunity to interview him, but he did interview his widow, Lauren Bacall, whom I was lucky to meet in the 70's...well, she autographed her autobiography for me. I'll never forget her smiling at me, a nervous 16-year-old and saying "Brendan" in that husky voice!
OK. The words “Betty Hutton” don’t appear anywhere in the title or the description, so I’m not sure of the reason for your comment, but yeah, it’s not Esther Williams either😉
Thanks! I’m gonna take that as a compliment! The AV Club called my channel “possibly the world’s weirdest mix tape” and that was before I uploaded this and other niche content (like the video of my Berlin roommate keeping me awake with his snoring!)
Many hamburgers to you! Your weird mixtape of a channel introduced me to CBB and changed my life! Thank you for your unabashed zeal, BFB. It's exactly what I needed.
@@BabyFaceBren It hits so hard when Reggie's like, "alright one more time I want a clean take". So sick. Also, so much work from you to put this together, and I just want you to know I appreciate your efforts :) Not only the audio compilation, but the fun little visual slides. So awesome.
Apparently, though it’s weird Sanz wasn’t jailed or even charged as far as I know and he probably paid a heap of money to his “victim”, it was a case of sexual misconduct. I don’t know the full story and I don’t care, I’m not one of those who gets their knickers in a twist about these things happening to people I don’t know, but there are always enough of those perfect people who never did anything wrong in their lives (if they even have lives) to ensure, that for one mistake, “villains” like Horatio are never allowed to work again
Are you winding me up Eddie? You commented on 2 “cancelled” guests (Horatio and Ming) on each of their videos, in the same hour 🤔 Where’s the Thomas Middleditch comment 😉
@@Eddie.x265 I don’t know if he’s in any other videos I’ve made. That’s the only Sanz compilation I’ve made. I’ll put another on my list. Maybe I could do one with Jeremy Rowley and Middleditch cuts and call it “The CBB Cancelled Crew”😉
I love how *right off the bat* Scott sounds exasperated with James doing Huell Howser, and this is from friggin 2009, that really got me Anyway thank you so much BFB for putting this together, Harris is to comedy what Michael Brooks was to political commentary and I have a deep love for all these guys. I hope Harris’ work is never forgotten
It sucks that guys like Adomian don't do Comedy Bang Bang anymore. I understand having a gripe about not getting paid, but the point of making the appearance in the first place is to make the most of it and put people in seats for your shows which nets you income anyway.
I’m not sure if he does his own shows to plug, but yeah, it’s a shame he’s not on anymore. In those early days, I don’t think even Scott was making money out of CBB. Apparently it costs a bit to run a podcast (I’ve heard some say they actuallly lose money) and even though he had ads I think that just went to running costs. Now that he’s making money from CBB world (I assume), I don’t know if he pays his guests. Some come on to plug stuff, so they probably wouldn’t expect to be paid. but I often wonder why guests like PFT would be on so often for no pay. They do seem to have a lot of fun though, so maybe they just do it for kicks. I reckon if Scott paid past guests like Adomian and Brendon Small to do a limited series of guest appearances he’d get a heap of new subscriptions.
Yes, it’s the intro to the last farts and pro (there’s a title on screen). I put it at the end to flow from 3 to 4. In the last ep, the eulogy was originally at the start of F&P 4 and the Harris compilation was at the end
What an amazing dancer, so beautiful and talented. I thank the heavens for allowing me to have grown during a time in which these movies were the hits of the day, and not the stuff that passes as art in the 21st century.
Yeah, I get that sometimes (and sometimes I agree!), which is why I always put a link so viewers can skip past my opening song. What can I say? CBB makes me want to sing! Or at least attempt to. But more often, I get “great song!” or “great pipes!” and other encouragement from viewers who enjoy the point of difference in my vids. In fact, FIVE people in the comments for this very video (as Time Keeper might say) said they love the song. I’m pretty sure that’s the most for any of my openings, so I’m not fazed by one diss. Blame encouragement such as that for my continued original themes (warning: there’ll be another in my next CBB video!) BTW, I just checked out your “channel” to see what YOU do with YOUR original videos, but you don’t HAVE any. Funny, that’s always the way with those who criticise my work, haha😉
