Got question, got a t300 wont turn on. I plug it up to charge. No blinking on the 5 dots battery status. Open up to look at the on board charger and its blinking medium battery.
How do you level the squeegee assembly? I feel like ours is higher on the right and the support roller doesnt make contact with ground the way the other side does. Additionally, when you put new blades on does it take a little bit to get some agility? Since theyre new?
I’m assuming you have a fresh set of blades on the squeegee tool. If not you may want to check if your squeegee mount may have been struck and could be bent. Also it it a pivot plate and should move freely.
@thomasjcox it pivots on a pin with a keeper. You should remove the batteries and drain the tank and flip it on its side. Clean and lube it. Hopefully the plate is not bent.
@@thomasjcox make sure the bracket and the hardware to the tail has the proper hardware and the plastic bracket is not damaged. The mount from the chassis can get jacked up if the squeegee has been forced inwards.
@@thomasjcox A high percentage of my customers do not provide training to their staff. With high turnover in the industry, I take it upon myself to help the users during my repair calls. I do see some short term successes, but it’s temporary.
@@kurdtm1147 it only lasts as long as those people stick around. I’m trying to raise the bar and sett high expectations at my building. Really hard. Finally got 2 working t300e’s . Do you know what the outer red and outer green blinking mean when the machine just stops moving? Is it because of melted wiring from excessive high down pressure with the lever? I have the codes i looked on manual. I’m doing a lot of the work myself.
The floor types in our building is painted concrete so our pads get beat up pretty bad. After i flip them once and they get half the original thickness i toss them. Last about 2 weeks during school year per machine.
Pretty sure those are the correct batteries for this unit, since it's not a traction drive machine, they are just at the end of their service life. T-1275's will be heavy in a pad assist unit!
@@dantusavitz5854 this has the transaxle and 1275 came standard. This facility has a lot of square footage to clean and I want to give them more bang for the buck.
I have a question do you ever have to work on minuteman equipment specifically the minuteman e20 sport auto scrubbers? Feel like we’ve been having nothing but problems with ours just got it fixed with batteries only to use it and the brush motor gave out. Now I’m waiting for the place where we got it from to come pick it up and fix it once again
I have worked on them. When the batteries were replaced, did they check the battery charger operation? I’ve seen the chargers fail or the power cord bad.
@@kurdtm1147 Ahh gotcha yeah what stinks is we are going through our distributor whom sold us the machine and there saying it’s gonna be higher. When do we know to replace the machine completely? Had the machine only for 6-7 years
Love watching your content! I have a question though regarding a minuteman E20 sport is there anyway I can message you to ask your opinion? It’s a lot to type lol
Wow this was such an interesting video! I’m surprised they didn’t know to keep the cells covered with distilled water. I’m always so anal when it comes to that and I run a minuteman e20 Sport
Easy fixes. New cord 14/3 type. Rubber gloves and a blade and stiff wire toothbrush will clean the roller right up. If you're super anal like me, you can wipe down the brush with an alcohol dampened rag and the machine exterior. I think you know all this and this was just a document vid of an employee not maintaining equipment and not reporting safety issue?
@kurdtm1147 yikes! Hey I'm a Vegas native, haha. Part of my biz is commercial cleaning (very small scale), and I'm not surprised at all at the lack of any kind of preventative maintenance people do on their equipment. Especially the $4K vacs and the 5-6k+ extractors and the maintenance is actually super simple on those beasts. Cool vids you got on the neglected units, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on one of those 28" vacs and was just seeing what YT folks had to say on them. Seems like they are built like tanks and perform super well as long as basic pre and post checks are done on it. I like that the paper bags can be used too, those shake out bags always seem gross to me, but I guess they could come in handy with certain types of debris that could rip through the bag or if there wasn't a lot of fine dirt involved. Anyway, thanks!
I watched more of your vids, then laughed at myself for offering my intermediate at best advice to an expert 🤣. Thanks for not dragging me through the coals on that. Also, if there's a way I could ever hire you for much smaller scale stuff let me know!
Can the squeegee assembly, be bent where it’s lower on one side compared to the other? Mine lifts up on one side and doesnt make good contact with the ground on that side, especially while turning, it seems stiff, not a lot of play.
Check to see if the squeegee mount is not bent or where the mount connects to the chassis. You may need to pull the batteries and flip the machine on its side to inspect it. See if the pin may have been disconnected.
Check battery voltage, fully charged is around 40VDC. Check with a known good battery. You may have a faulty battery. You can check warranty status with the serial number. Contact ProTeam with that info.
hey nice video! I'm looking at a 28 inch sc750 rev for sale this week. I noticed the motors on these vibrate and spin different than an old school convertamatic? are the Revs reliable with the newer motor type?
There are counter weights on the motor assembly. The pad drivers will wear over time and can drop the pads. The bearings can fail if exposed to excessive water/solution but it is considered routine maintenance. There is an optional brush available for different surfaces. It’s a good scrubber for the money.
You can disassemble the solenoid by removing the the solenoid from the base. The coil then can be removed, be careful of the wires, if you want, you can unplug the wires if you open the base. You may have a hose leak from the tank. Hopefully you are handy with tools when doing this.
Your batteries must be completely discharged. Check date code on the batteries. If cells are dry, that’s an issue too. What kind of batteries do you have?
I just bought new batteries today there deep cycle batteries It turns on but the it makes a click nose just one time click and then it does the loading thing and the red light start doing a loading thing aswell
Thanks for showing the interior of these! I knew they had a two belt system I didn't know they used a larger gear attached to the motor to overdrive the fan.
Hello I have a T5 auto scrubber and I’m having a little issue when I turn the key on about 3 seconds later I hear a click and then the battery light starts doing a loading and the red light starts flashing would there be a easy solution to this?
I could, but it times out. I try to simulate user conditions as much as possible. The diagnostics on these units are limited compared to other manufacturers products I work with. Thanks for your input!
They are all owned. We have special pricing since we are distributors. All OEM. I do have some generic parts that work with many models. The problem is there is lots of neglect and most of my repairs cost $250 to a few thousand. A lot of my customers have a budget for repairs.
The original 3 stage vac motor is obsolete, replaced by a 2 stage (not as good water lift) which is suitable. Brush motors are available, but nearly $1500 apiece. Hope those items work for you. I am a distributor and can tell you yes or no on availibility.
I find that 110 percent of my service is related to poor maintenance and lack of training. This is an example of the lack of familiarity of the operation of the unit and user care.
@@kurdtm1147Oh wow. I presume the equipment is expensive and bought directly from the manufacturer. Is it safe to say they are supposed to train operators upon delivery? Don’t forget to thumbs up your own comments 👍
@@Jimmy_Moon Absolutely! The demo of equipment in not performed satisfactorily to my standards and I end up retraining staff. This is common throughout the industry,
Top issues: Lack of proper use/knowlege and no aftercare of machines. There was a time, many years ago when people cared and were accountable for their wonderful cleaning machines.
I've just stumbled upon your channel. I don't work in the industry that you service but I'm very interested in it. On your RU-vid channel I couldn't see an 'about me' description. A little bit of background would help others understand what it is you do and why. Watching the videos, you talk about what your doing and you sound very knowledgeable and passionate about the work. But, myself and the many thousands of viewers you'll get are not knowledgeable, we won’t know what you know. Help us understand what it is you are doing and why. I've noticed a problem (that's not exclusive at any industry) which is asking questions or asking why. Probably due to the fear of looking stupid to others. This leads to poor work, poor maintenance and loss of earnings. If you can take the time to educate others in a helpful and easy way, you'll get like after like on videos. Awesome work and I'll do my best to like videos!
You need to record the serial number and submit a claim through customer service. Hopefully yours is still under warranty. There is no user serviceable parts inside the battery.
