Hope you are if you want to know. here or email? I am anywhere and How are you? I am good /.../..
Great video, at 31:30, when this check valve fails in the Intake it will knock out the valve cover diaphragm, both should be replaced at the same time. Another issue is when you use such low vac as -2. to -6.inH2O crankcase vacuum it will overheat the Oil Control rings and in some instances(Using cheap oil) will carbon up and cause oil consumption issues. The crankcase needs to see -1. to -3.inHg to cool the rings by extracting the heat of blow-by away from the ring pack. Low vacuum is like going back to the Draft Tube and requires the really short OCI's. The DI engines have the smell of fuel in the oil bc of this as well bc 70% of Blow-by is HC's. There are 2 ways to keep oil clean, the oil filter and the PCV System and they've disabled the second one. The engine should be cleaner on the inside than the outside.
This is an AWESOME video that just guided Me through repairing the lock cylinder on My 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass! It was simple and painless thanks to You, Champ!
Great video I have a couple of questions, if the check engine light isn't on but the symptoms are pointing to a vacuum leak more than likely the egr valve since it's the original and the truck is a 98 Ford f-150 does the check engine light needs to light up and second question does the egr pipe needs to be completely removed or just where it connects to the egr valve? Thank you again for the video and your time.
Question: Si ma poulie ne vire pas (genre bloquer des 2sens) quest ce que jdoit en conclure ou où est ce que jdoit proceder? Merci svp ps lalternateur nest pas installer sur le moteur
I have a 2005 Buick Lacrosse and the ignition cylinder frequently locks up periodically. Very annoying, will this fix that problem or is there really nothing I can do?
That's the only 3.6 Pentastar oil filter/cooling housing we install. We keep them in stock. Keeps the correct filter and comes with sensors installed. Great piece.
What is a typical torque setting for these things? I'm failing to find it for my device/vehicle. (continental 22705433R in Vauxhall Vivaro-B (aka Renault Traffic III)).
Thanks for the clear video and information, but I read that at Idle the waste gate would be partly opened to protect the turbo charger from unnecessary pressure, is that correct? Other question is it possible to know if the actuator are good or bad from from live data in obd diagnostic? Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹
I just performed this. On the 2012 version the one screw is a 5.5mm or 7/32", not a 6mm. Using a 6mm 6 point will frustrate you as it slips around the 5.5mm screw head.
for anyone wondering, if that bypass valve fails, it can set a p0299, the engine underboost code. however, if you look at the intake manifold and don't see a hose sticking out of the top left corner next to the MAP sensor, you have the old version of the manifold, get yourself a new update intake manifold, comes with a solenoid for controlling the valve, that solenoid is the most common failure point.
Great class! I find on the Toyota compressor with the flow sensor code, is because the initial turn on voltage is below 3.8v so it flags an open circuit code. I put a little magnet on the sensor so it raises the voltage to 4v and the compressor starts up and it actually works, the voltage goes down when you Rev the engine. Unlike the Chinese sensors that just fix the voltage at 4.38v and it just maxes out the A/C.
Thanks for the video! Changed trans on daughter's car. Had to replace so much oil leaking part's. I knew it was something I touched. Ran right when it came in, just didn't go. Your a lifesaver, thank you!
It a good thing I watched this video after I watched the other video because I would've been 25lbs shy on my torque specs, and I didn't think it was tight enough as it was coming off.thank you you gained a subscribe can't wait to check out more videos from you💯💯
