So this started as a home to showcase some of the antics and exploits of my friends and I, hopefully with loads of awe and laughter. Kayaking adventures, disc golfing, mixed DIY projects, and some video games sprinkled in made up the majority of "It" for us, and all of it will have a permanent home here at The Difference is Doing It.
We have as of recently though started to circle tighter around the Disc Golfing part of Doing It with our videos, and are slowly becoming a Disc Golf Channel. We're not pros by any measure other than the fun we have. You won't find disc reviews or putting tips here...we're more the "B side" of Disc Golf. Some of our fails, music montages, hand drawn disc art, road trips and such should make up the majority of our content moving forward. Disc on friends!
Hope you enjoy your time here, and please Subscribe hit that bell if the good times grabbed you.
There's only one difference between the people who do it and the people who don't....Doing It!
Looked like fun, sorry I missed out. Quick question, what do you do about the little nub in the center of your turntable that holds the record in place? Did you cut it off?
I shaved mine down with a Dremel tool way back in the day. Kind of regret it now because I can't really use any of the fancy centering jigs on it. Should have laid down a couple extra mats to build up the surface level with the peg. Hope that helps Marc.
@@TheDifferenceisDoingIt Those jigs are not all they are cracked up to be. I got one that is not completely level. My spins have a thick part to them because of it.
Wow! That’s awesome!! This is my favorite disc you have done since the alright, alright, alright disc. I will proudly carry it in my bag. Thanks Bobby,
Some good Fun right there Bobby! Steampunk and Samurai Dipped and ready for color which arrives tomorrow, trying the other worm dip this time around. I've also added the black, gun metal, and silver gray Ipolly to the tool bag. Think the black is better than the dungeon for the dips, I can see a difference in these last 2 for sure. Keep on keeping on brother!
Snuck in there with just a few hours to spare, nice work Eric! Stoked to see how the Samurai and Steampunk Machine come out with the new hot dip recipe. Going to draw the winner now, good luck bro!
@@TheDifferenceisDoingIt Thank You! I already got that Balrog, figured that would be a one and only. Gonna be hard to get sucked up in the sucker upper twice!!
Dude, your work is awesome, and it's great that you're sharing your work with the instructional videos and giveaways. Brother, you have started the train, and we're all here. Thank you
Fantastic news! I took a peek at their website a few days ago. Your involvement is no surprise as you have often talked of your love of Spike-It colours. With your involvement, this seems to be more than just a rebranding of leftover stock. I’m not sure where I fall on the ‘stoked’ spectrum. Junebug? The best green available! Other previous colours have been hit or miss with me. I will be completely in, if there is a way to get this dye into cocoa butter or Floetrol without losing viscosity.
Left over stock isn't a problem for these guys, their fishing lure dyes fly off the shelves. You're right on about Junebug though. Best green ever, needs to be on the list. Not sure if you're working a crystal ball over there, but different medium dyes mixes are currently in the works. Stay tuned!
Thanks bro, it's good to be back. No doubt a time of need for me, and even less doubt about the TDIDI Army coming up huge to lift me up. Best of luck in the giveaway!
Really did feel like a mad scientist getting to play with all of the chemistry involved...such a geek! I like where your head is at on the premix lotion dyes, count it as on the list.
Dope as always dude!!! You keep doing you man and keep up the positive vibes bro. You are an inspiration to all us nutbags and appreciate you sharing your world, your passion, and your life with us all.
Thanks so much Derek, means the world to me. Tough not to keep the positive vibes going with all of the support flowing in. Best of luck in the giveaway bud!
Yup I know👍, just saying it would be awesome if it was possible but as far as I know not possible due to it’s a pigment only thing. But glow discs do the trick
That is so cool that they brought you out to Georgia to work with you. You need them to whip up a skin color! That way we don’t have to try to mix up our own anymore.
