I just purchased a FG60R3 and started it for thecfisrt time. I run 15:1 oil as instructions suggested but noticed that cylinder 1 gets hot and 2 and 3 just warm. Any suggestions ??
The unit with generator sparks for Ignition if the ignition is not sparking, it is not working, if you have multiple leads, they should all spark individually for your reference
I recently aquired this engine from Stephen. He sold it to me as a deal with an unflown Hanger 8 Pitts Special. Stephens interests had changed and the engine had not been run since Morris had commisioned it. The Pitts now awaits servos which should be with me next week. My fun can then begin. Thanks to both Morris and Stephen.
Will you be making starters for the FG61T and the FG57T? Any idea on how much they’ll weigh? I’m assuming the starters will mount on the down side of the engine as the 100 shown?

Do you think this can provide down force for a rally ford fiesta GT? I can protect it from cross wind with variable elevation wind shielding based on speed already, just need to know that this or multiples of this can provide enough down force for a 2017 GT ford fiesta. So far I'm looking at turbines but their force isn't as general in direction as the propellers are.
Basically I'm looking at this for holding my front down while providing push against air to accelerate my vehicle out of turns. The turbines generate so much heat they'll melt my windshield into my face if I use more than 3 to 4.

Morris, in your single cylinder timing video you time the spark to fire (30 degrees BTDC) as it LEAVES the magnet. On this multi you time it as it ENTERS the magnet. Is that correct?

Please ROTO make a 3-cylinder inline motor for CARF Spitfire. KOLM/Ploberger went nuts and almost tripled their prices so there is a market for a new inline triple around 200-250cc that could be a drop-in replacement for KOLM IL-230. KOLM price is almost 6000€ so there is definitely a room for a competitor.

Does the electronic ignition delays ignition in function from measured rpm ? You should see to the code in the controller. Or build a new one ? have been doing that for a motorbike.
