My name is Alex and I make high quality videos about technology for real people with real budgets.
Electronics can be hard to understand and is expensive, which makes for some daunting experiences when making purchase decisions. But I'm here to make those things easier on everyone. It's my goal to make these videos watchable and understandable for anyone at any level.
Some of the topics I cover are iPhones, MacBooks, Android phones, tech news, tech accessories, and even cars.

My problem is, I have a Apple Card, and u have to pay through the wallet app, so I’m not sure of me switching and I’ve bought a lot of music, movies and apps, that would be hard to walk away from.
This comment section shows the problem with Android vs iPhone. Most of them are just assholes. Tried switching to Samsung, I got too many things going on and kids to sit there and setup a phone for months. iPhone you just sign into a new one and everything moves. Move MFA to the new phone and you’re done. Can’t beat that.
I’m kind of in the same boat- business owner, heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem and I’ve been looking at videos etc for weeks trying to decide if switching is worth it - and if I was an average guy doing basic stuff - the switch makes total sense. But now I’m trying to figure out can I still some of the Apple ecosystem and mix in the 24 ultra and ultra watch to kind of begin the transition. I’m looking at all of the quality of life stuff to make sure it’s on par with my Apple experience - if so, I’m thinking I may take the plunge. :-) But I totally get where he’s coming from - as a business owner, it’s not just about the greatest hardware - you have to take into account the synergy of all of the products. It does add up to a certain experience and flow of doing life and business.
To me I use to be on a iPhone 13 and I had the 12 mini and uprgaded to the 13 then I upgraded to the 15 pro max and I thought it was hugeeeee and I even bought bulky bulky case and once I got use to it having to reach more it seems as if I don’t have to reach far anymore after I got use to using it everyday
Well come with a category like a premium ,excellent an so on ... So when you order and make sure which one you choosing should be exactly the way you choose , I bought alots renewed saved hundreds of dollars and all of them came out great, but I never choose any items electronics or not less than the Excellent
It does work also when plug in to Audio mixer headphone jack then connected to wireless headphones? For live streaming singing live.? Using karaoke also via yt play on my iPad, and connect to Blutooth. I need my wireless Headphone to connect with AirFly Pro. Any opinion thank you . Watching from Germany 🇩🇪
I have bought an amazon renewed iPhone 11 before. I am upgrading to a 14 from Amazon renewed soon and was wondering if any sellers sell fake iPhones and what to look out for!
To sum up the 23 minutes long video - as a 7 years of using Apple products, you didn't have the time and will to switch and find alternatives. That's fine, you're deep inside the walled garden.
Close. I couldn’t find the purpose in switching. I had the will and took the time to switch. But in the end, I gained essentially nothing and was attempting to fix something that wasn’t broken for me.
@@AlexVassiosOfficial I can understand you well, switching to a different player after investing time and effort on one player, and gain nothing, is something you wished you never did. But you made and now smarter about it. Personally, I'm a PC guy. macOS was fine, but like you said - everything is okay with Apple, but the integration of all services is what makes the experience. And I love Windows, and after 4 years of trying all of their products (2 iPhones, 3 Watches, 2 AirPods, 2 Apple TVs, 2 AirTags, iPad Pro M2 with MK), I'm tired of the experience. Thank you for the video, Alex. ♥
Honestly hate these tech reviewers giving biased opinions cause they’re sponsored by samsung and got the phone for free. You literally point out most of what I had issues with. I haven’t found a single “tech youtuber” that was honest until I found your channel..
Exactly. If I'm outside in my yard I get no signal when my wifi disconnects. I use Starlink so inside the house the wifi is great. But otherwise the signal is spotty around here. iMessage is hugely helpful even if I have a little LTE or 3G signal and zero bars.
Honestly I am too, but I think that’s a good thing. The technology has matured and stabilized to the point that boring = consistent. I found that through all the tweaking and setup on the Android side, I missed a lot of life in between because I was concerned about my phone. And when it was all setup the way I like it, it didn’t provide me much more value at all than if I hadn’t done the exercise in the first place. Just missed some time with the family in between, not worth it.
Yeah I think 🤔 your right consistency can be reliable but also boring and there will always be a shiny ✨ object like another new phone but we all got families and have to work and have to get shit done everyday and learning a new ecosystem is hard. I used to have Samsung Note phones back in the day and I really liked them but between the Apple Watch Ultra and the Tablet and the MacBook Pro the ecosystem is so strong 💪 it feels impossible to break away and at least I know how to do what I want on my phone without taking time away from my family to learn a whole other way of working which to be honest I don’t have the time. 😂 I really liked your video keep up the good work. 🤙⚡️💪

I had the 12 mini and 13 mini also. Love both so much. I recently traded in my 13 mini for a 15 ProMax. I never thought I’d like a phone more than the 13 mini. It’s crazy the difference. I do miss the size, but with this being my everything device it is refreshing for all I do.
I think you made excellent points but also missed some key things at the same time. The premise that switching from 1 ecosystem to another is not worth is true. The grass is just about as green on the other side. However, you failed to mention that it is also the other way round. I know many people who have always used Android and everything works well for them but when they switch to iphone, it no longer works. For example, the S-Pen is key for my friend who is an architect and always doodles on what needs to change. Same goes for another friend who is in creative and needs to quickly highlight fixes on the go and draw. Just because something is a gimmick for you isn't necessarily a gimmick for another person. Once you are used to 1 ecosystem, it will most likely be more familiar and work better than on another.
Apple fans will call everything gimmicky until apple brings some features to ios like customization now.I hear a lot of apple fans praising ios 18 and talking about the biggest change in ios history but it’s basically features from android that they were considering gimmicks. The problem with many apple fans is that they don’t know any better outside of apple bubble.
@@Joker-yu5kp I used and preferred Android longer than I have Apple. The thing is that when these things come to Apple, they are usually implemented in much smoother ways. A “gimmick” with a purpose and well-implemented is no longer a gimmick.
@@AlexVassiosOfficial so you’re telling me that apple’s customization is better than android’s? We saw when they implemented AOD,it was not well received so it’s ridiculous to claim that when apple does it,it does it better. It’s simply not true,so far from videos we’re seeing ios customization looks like some htc evo skin from 2012.I wanna know what apple has implemented after android and did it better.
I don't really understand this blue bubble green bubble thing... so I understand that it's better to write on imessage, it's free, the picture and video quality is better, it's fast and fluid, but I simply don't care what I use... what you said in the video that I don't you like to use e.g. messenger and wattsup, which I don't understand. You're right, it takes 1 more click to open than imessage, but it can be used in the same way.... on iPhone and Mac, I often want to write an SMS to someone who doesn't have an iPhone, but it displays what I'm writing in a blue bubble and it says that it could not be sent and that there is no way I can send him an SMS if there is, say, an emergency or something wrong...
I totally agree with you! I've had many Androids, especially Samsung, but I've never felt the same with Apple devices, that it works simply, there's no problem with it, it doesn't lag, it doesn't leave you anywhere (it can be laggy, but only if I don't have storage space)
No android mid range or flagship phones in 2024.If you get some $80 android phone then don’t be surprised if it doesn’t work well.Android came a long way,i actually use both and i have more bugs with my 15 pro max than my s24u
It's clear that Android passed ios in the last years. Your problem is with cellular not with Android which give u all of ios and extras. And about tweaking u have to do it once and u good to go.
Americans just in this little bubble of nonsense lol apple tricked yall into that and now you're trapped, it's what they wanted, the rest of the world can use any phone and it works well because we didn't let apple bamboozle us.
