The video is nostalgic and seeing it again in 2024 gives me so much joy. I remember being obsessed with it 10 years ago back when I was a teenager. It was a huge influence into making me a metalhead, a furry and, foremost, a Running Wild fan.
For those who'd want to know, this is the original version of 'Tiger Burning Bright" by Da Wallace, and I'm glad it's here, because I couldn't find it anywhere else. The mod's soundtrack is available on moddb, unfortunately, that track gots "updated", and the new version isn't that epic.
This is where a lot of the other games in the series dropped the ball. It was a stroke of genius to allow players to choose whether to have the ambient tracks only, or the dynamic combat music. I loved the forlorn atmosphere of the original Painkiller; even though the gameplay comprised killing a gazillion enemies, you had the option of doing it while listening to the slow, moody music. In the later entries, the forced action soundtrack took that particular atmosphere away.
