I find the lyrics here far superior to those on Sketches. They’re less sophomoric, and the meaning is more coherent. Maybe it’s just the way that he sings it. Trying to learn this song I have learned most of it but it’s hard to play it right there’s so much going on in the guitar. I sound pretty close but there’s lots of disharmonious chords it sounds a little weird
It’s just so wonderful seeing him interact with other people normally. I don’t know, I hear so much about how magnetic his presence and personality was and seeing this is humanizing. Like, he was flesh and blood like you and I underneath all that talent and immense intelligence.
