The uncle-nephew partnership Will & Falco Ebben from Leeuwen (The Netherlands) is racing at the highest level in their section for almost 20 years now.
With only twelve couples on total widowhood and altogether fifty young pigeons to fly with (the youngsters are being raced from two lofts), they dared to take on the biggest and strongest competitors. The highlights of their career:

had eigenlijk gehoopt dat je zou uitleggen hoe je de duiven in de pennen houd. alleen verduisteren is het niet. als jij duiven laat zien einde seizoen dan zijn ze in de rui en zie je hele grote verspringing na de 5e of 6e pen. hoe verklaar je dat? groet
Ik weet niet welke duiven je bedoelt, maar ik vermoed dat dat kwekers zijn (zo niet, laat me weten welke duiven je bedoelt). Normaal zitten ze aan het eind van het seizoen nog goed in de veren, zeker de jongen. En moeilijk is dat niet, alleen verduisteren en een beetje bijlichten. De oude duiven worden verduisterd tot half april (doffers) en begin mei (duivinnen). De jongen vanaf maart tot half juni. Tegenwoordig verduister ik 13,5 a 14 uur. Vanaf begin augustus wordt er bijgelicht van 5 tot 22 uur tot en met de laatste vlucht.
Dat verklaart een hoop, want Pandemic en Pizza hebben het seizoen niet afgemaakt. Pizza is ergens in juni stilgezet en Pandemic heb ik eind juli naar het kweekhok verplaatst. Dus dat verklaart een hoop. Als je ze niet speelt ruien ze sneller.

Its great to see you two and hear about how things are progressing. I like to compare my methods with a winning loft and take on the common sense points. Hello Dave, Thanks for your message. We will try to keep on uploading now. We had the best result in our province last Saturday winning 26 prizes 1:4 and 21 prizes 1:10 out of 30 entered pigeons. I filmed the arrivals, we will probably upload these later. With a few degrees of frost, I can continue to use the system. When it freezes harder, I put a regular drinking pot in the loft and close the system. You can have it made in such a way that it is frost-free. Falco
