I also got burned out of fc6 during my first playthrough. The game is too big imo and so bloated. I found 5 to be way more fun.. Don't get me wrong i had fun in 6 but only during some parts and up until a point. I'm always comparing 5 and 6 as they are the most modern far crys
i just ran this, what you should do is set the resolution to 1080p, and shadow map detail to high instead of very high, then it locks at smooth 60 without dips. You could try dxvk, i don't know what settings you would need though. I tried dxvk myself but that didn't have an effect on performance, also on a380, and i have rebar. I don't know what fps your getting, but at the same settings at 1440p it was dipping from 60 down to high 30's. With resolution at 1080p and shadow maps on high, all the nvidia settings off and motion blur off (i hate it) its smooth 60 no dips
wtf How can you sell Soul which is very good artifact and instead buying bandages and ammo which are plenty in corpses... Same you sell Cristal Thorn which is in quest for Barkeep.
Bloodsucker are ho estly the strongest enemy I've fought. Chimera just take 2 heavy strikes with the knife to kill while the bloodsucker run around for 5 minutes to grab you from behind for a little sucky sucky
Respect on the difficulty man, I’ve been working on my first very hard play through of New Vegas for the past two months or so, I’m finishing Old World Blues at the moment, I got through Lonesome Road, so you could say the hardest part of the game is already behind me. Definitely looking forward to my first Hardcore play through attempt, I’ve always enjoyed playing basically any game on its hardest difficulty, and the extra layer of immersion added with Hardcore has always peeked my interest. I’m just gonna have to be saving every 5 minutes to avoid death loops 😂, which I’ve just barely been able to escape from on very hard, so that’s definitely gonna be something to keep in mind.
You should try to get the firelance weapon. Its a random encounter spawn but you can trigger it through certain locations and re-rolling saves. Ive got that plus energy weapons/guns stats maxed, all the energy weapons perks, pyromaniac perk + xenotech expert perk + bloody mess + one handed weapone accuracy perk. The weapon basically does almost half the damage a fat man does but with sniper accuracy. Basically can 1 shot most enemies on the map from a distance.
