I recently finished James Gleick’s book called Chaos and it was fantastic. He talked about how analog computers cannot sufficiently program chaos because it is 0 and 1 when reality is much more nuanced so the computer simulation of evolution shown here is only getting part of the story. The next generation of quantum computers that allow for many unpredictable solutions will possibly give science a better understanding. I am fascinated by the Mandelbrot sets and how they were a giant leap in our understanding of reality
Since stars have a definite lifecycle, how can the proclamation in this video by Dr. Jim be true: "...the ratio of Hydrogen and Helium are the same for all stars in our galaxy" @37:45 onwards?
our sun is a tiny speck of a very light sand flowing with the current of the vast spinning ocean with trillion other suns. at the edge of the ocean, the beach, there are trillion more suns upon suns upon suns piling up so blindingly bright that space telescopes cant capture it and go blind. but the blind do not believe the universe or stars or black hole ever exist. its true. cos universe only happen in the brain which shows a movie of a world and bodies and objects and eyes.
Enjoyed the video about nothing. One problem with the Michaleson Morley experiment. It assumes that as the earth moves through the nothing that the nothing remains stationary. When we look at the wind across the earth we see that the speed and direction can be different at different altitudes. With the nothing, the possibily for the same scenario exists. If that is the case then the results may not be what we anticipate. The relatinve speed of nothing at the surface of the experiment could be negligible because the earth is carrying the nothing along.

What about that, “ light static “, also only being the light static that has not stretched out beyond our being able to see? Then if that’s the case, then maybe the, “ light static “ are from supernovae and other violent events, in our vicinity or area, that we can detect, and then there really wasn’t a, “ big-bang? A big bang doesn’t make sense because where did all of that material come from? But how about the black holes sucking in material to a point, and banging out, another end and so the universe is multi-universes like a bunch of bubbles?

Here's a silly question, is the void of space faster then light as it retracts, or is the black void of space the same speed as light? Since light has to travel into the void to expand the universe. Or is the universe expanding regardless of matter being present?
the problem is with all that are so negative about this subject is they haven’t done any research at all. if they did they would find out that we do know how to go faster than light but the element needed to power an engine to do so is beyond our capabilities to make or control. ie dark energy.
On the beginnings of life - a question... If life originated (even from a naturally somewhat organized) from chemicals and molecules that are not alive - and it happened relatively quickly after the earth formed... Why has life different from the original life not happened separately many more times since? Why is it still not happening? There are places with chemicals and molecules and heat/energy but no different life has evolved. To be clear I'm an atheist so I don't think a guy in the clouds created life but I find science's origin of life explanations weak and sometimes misleading. There is a huge gap between simple self organization and actual life. My 2 cents...
