I hate that Hulu and the other providers don’t provide full season episodes. There are so many great ones I miss seeing.

I do agree with your below statement that this episode is definitely below the rest- however without something like this and the feedback it received it wouldn't have changed so it was two steps back but three steps forward which you rightly said. I wasn't sure if due to myself replying to someone else below that comment would show up for you so I thought I'd reply to this one, and your final comment was beautiful

I absolutely hate this episode. Not only is this the worst segment ever made of this classic series, but also one of the worse situation comedy episodes of all time. I Love Lucy had created some of the funniest comedy routines ever shown in the history of making situation comedy series, but this episode was a real let down. I can't believe anyone would laugh at something like that. I must admit though the episode was still quite well-acted, but the story line and some of the dialogue used in this segment was terrible. The further into this episode the worse it gets. Lucille Ball was a truly great comedienne, as well as a fine dramatic actress, and I have to admit that she and the producers of this series showed considerable courage in bringing this sensitive subject to the small screen. However, producers of classic situation comedy shows must realize that certain episodes dealing with sensitive subject matter do not appeal to all television viewers. They have to be careful not to shock or offend anybody watching them. In the 1970s, classic sit-com series such as "All in the Family", "Maude", and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" presented subjects that were considered inappropriate or forbidden in I Love Lucy's time. This is a pretty daring story line for a classic situation-comedy series from the 1950s. It just goes to prove that even the prettiest rose bush can have a few thorns.

@Dominique Lavalle Can I ask if you feel that strongly about it and hate it so much as to why you just showed up to complain? I know you posted this a year ago but I'm genuinely curious

@@user-vq5gz3if3o I didn't say she shouldn't; I asked as to why and I was, much like now, "genuinely curious" It's nice to see other perspectives on such episodes
