Prime Inc. was founded in 1970 by Robert Low with one dump truck and has grown into the most successful trucking company in North America with its headquarters in Springfield, MO. We haul refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and intermodal freight across America and into Canada. We have over 8500 professional truck drivers across the United States. Our policy is as follows: do your best, do what’s right, and treat others the way you want to be treated. If you’re looking for a place where hard work is rewarded, consider joining us at Prime Inc.
I’m trying to add Hazmat endorsement. Did I already handle ELDT requirement’s since I went through prime, or do I still need to pay for a separate ELDT test (required before hazmat test at dmv)
The ELDT test is required to take during orientation. If you completed orientation with us, you can call the orientation office at 417-866-0001 to get your certificate.
You do not but it does expedite the on boarding process. Our recruiters can not schedule you for orientation until you have a permit. As Heather said in the video, we do recommend the CDL Prep app to help you study for the permit test.
What are the work history requirements for cdl training I ask because I have done a lot of work off the books and some on the books. DoorDash and currently Walmart now.
I love prime and wish they would give me the opportunity to get my CDL and become a company driver 😢 I literally learned everything online from prime and have tried months to get with them

Sharing one of our hidden gems with you all. This has to be one of our favorite views at the Springfield Terminal! You can almost see the entire property from here. Comment below if you have other hidden gems at the terminals.
I have them all year around, daily, hauling cement tankers to construction sites, and they have to sit right next to the building wherever we're pouring.. sometimes I have to back up, uphill, in the mud, through rutts where forklifts been tearing up. Sometimes get stuck and if we do, forklift or bulldozer pulls us out!
I been with this company for 9!yrs and the last 8 week I’ve been working for free paying truck and fuel my revenue hasn’t go past 3000 . I understand freight market is bad but it’s crazy now even in a Monday morning you sit for over 24 hrs wait on a load.
Hi! Is there a maximum time a passenger can be with you? I want to get back OTR but want my husband with me most of the time lol. Thanks for the video!
