Welcome to my RU-vid channel. Here you will find a wide range of videos related to both my various travel experiences, and topical thoughts about life in general as seen through my eyes and mind.
I love Airstreams (and own a bigger model) but I also love the layout of your Little Guy Max. Maybe keep your eye out for a used Airstream, there are many people who are now selling their barely used Covid purchase Airstream. Better price and the kinks have been worked out of it.
They look like they are built solid. However, I can't get over the tiny refrigerators. I was in a medium size camper a few weeks ago with a unit that was like 10+ cubit feet. In the Airstream you could pack a couple of drinks but that's it! You could never have enough food fit into the refrigerator for a typical trip. JMTC!
My husband and I went to a lighting ceremony twice last week. This was such an amazing experience. We plan to come back to South Dakota this September for a vacation and we will definitely be attending another ceremony.
Lived in Libby, been across that bridge many a time! A young teenager took a dare and jumped off it, SAR looked for him a week, and then found him dead in Bonners Ferry Idaho!
You should see my garden. I live in maudsland qld.. And have created a tropical paradise We in QLD Australia are so fortunate. Weather mostly perfect. Wild life in my garden and the park I look over. This morning wallaby family came to call. The parrots and honey eaters visit dailt Only problem is. I've no fruit on my trees. But I do have happy birds 😊💜🇦🇺 Thank you for sharing this with me x
i spent time at tahoe and the surrounding countryside back in the 70s, it's really nice there. those big rv rigs look like the type they drive actually can drive around to different places. they must be like driving a city bus.
Tom you have the gift of patience and dedication to your craft. Love the trellises and seeing the growth across your garden. Oh and the irrigation is phenomenal! Keep it up!
Thank you so much Tom for this wonderful video. You did such an excellent job of capturing the beauty of the Botanical Tasmanian gardens that I feel like I have had a personal tour of the tranquil gardens. I was sorry that it came an end. I really appreciated it as well as your commentary. I still have never been to Tasmania but it is on my bucket list of places to visit, especially after seeing this. I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland which is also very beautiful and green. It has always been a dream of mine to visit the U.S. and Canada.
They are not called ausssssssies - we call ourselves Ozzie’s. The names like Gan Gan etc are from the Indigenous Aboriginals. Anyhoo I hope you loved it. Nice video footage. 🙏
Hi Tom, long time no see. Our family experienced a nasty flu last month, from which we have all since recovered. Also, late last year, I had an infected right leg, which included some time in hospital. It took several weeks before I could fully walk again. Since then, I seem to have fully recovered, though I get around a bit slower these days. I must be getting old, as I turn 72 in August. You seem to be doing very well with your garden. Your hammock looks great, especially with the stand. With all the vegetables growing, you could eventually have a giant feast, once they are all ready to pick. Do you have any problems with wild rabbits and gophers? We don't have gophers here in Australia. We do have rabbits, though none have visited our place so far. We have bird netting set up in an effort to stop all the wild birds eating all our plants. Talking about the birds here, we have regular visiting birds to our place, which include magpies, currawongs and lorikeets, all which really enjoy being fed breadcrumbs, biscuit crumbs and even cornflakes. We also have some bird feeders set up, which attracts wild cockatoos, both white and pink. Anyway, wishing you the very best. Rob in Melbourne Australia.
West side market, on crowded days, pick-pockets are there so keep a close watch on your purse. Do NOT let the fruit and veggie people fill your bag from behind their counter. I bought 4 pints of strawberries and when i got home found 4 pints of fuzzy, moldy strawberries. So pick your fruit and veggies from what is on display, not what they fill your bag with from behind their counter. Be aware, there are no "sell by" dates on meats and stuff, so make sure what you pick out is what they wrap up for you. COUNT YOUR CHANGE!!!
