My son Jason and I (Jason) love food. We decided to chronicle our food adventures eating in and around the Houston, Texas area. Sometimes we will have guests like my wife and Jason's mom, Ivette, my parents, friends, or other family member. Thank you for coming along with us on this journey! God bless you!
the hype made by foreign vloggers making videos for Filipinos who can rarely afford to eat in fast food is too much. So people can have really have high expectations. In the Philippines, the Mcdonalds chicken was better. But they seem to change the recipe and so Jollibee is on the same level or better. Jollibee is great. But it can be too expensive for the average Filipino.
@@eduardochavacano We don't know anything about that. We can only comment on the restaurants that we have access to and compare them to other food we have tried.
I used to eat there in 2003 when I moved here. I would call from work and place a pickup order and get it at the window. Great burgers loved them. One day I decided to go inside and eat and when I walked through the front door the ammonia from mouse urine started stinging my eyes and I left and never went back. They closed for many years and just recently reopened. I guess that smell is gone or your son would have pointed it out along with a lack of seasoning.....😂
There are salt and pepper shakers on the table for a reason....cool it with the “it’s not seasoned”. Old people can’t have all that, season to your liking at the table!
@@trailerparkcryptoking5213 Just a personal opinion. I went to culinary school and have worked in the restaurant industry for almost 30 years. I have always been taught that the food has to come out seasoned. Everyone has their own tastes and dietary needs and they need to make that known when ordering.
Witt Pitt is as good as Lockhart BBQ, no need to drive. The only thing better at Lockhart is the sausage.... Came here after watching your Schultzes BBQ video, they are mediocre at best and surprised they stay in business but I think they have been here so long they have a local following....
@@trailerparkcryptoking5213 Schulze's was a disappointment. Witt Pitt is very good. We still like to drive to Smitty's in Lockhart. It's a nice drive and very historic. Not to mention great barbecue. It is nice to have great places close by though! We have a video on Smitty's if you want to check it out.

It looks like a nice clean eatery. Mozzarella sticks are one of my all time favorite appetizers. The pizza looks really good and it was nice to see the pizzas being made. Have a pleasant weekend and God bless you and yours! ~Eric

The steak fries look like we Aussies wold call CHIPS but they look limp & sad. They should be crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. The salad looked sad too..... nothing crispy or fresh at all....no wonder it was drowned in ranch dressing,& even that needed a reboot.Honestly, you guys found that meal acceptable ? Even a pub over here could better that without a second thought.
The food is good overall. The salad was the worst part of the meal. Yes, the fries (chips) weren't crispy, but they had a good flavor. They were also cooked through. Maybe they should be called potato planks? Thank you for your input and thanks for watching!
@@JnJEatingAdventures In Aust that type of chip are called "wedges" & can sometimes end up looking like that if the server doesn't care.Nothing personal & I do say this with a smile but I'm glad you paid for it cos I wouldn't leave a tip.Oh,funny that......we don't have to tip....!
Back in my days volunteering at Theatre Suburbia (1980s and 90s) MytiBurger was our go-to on set construction weekends. They were average, in a good way, then and certainly fit our budget. Sounds like they are still that way now, years later. I'm going to get over there on a nostalgia run as soon as I can.
Sometimes the "hole-in-the-wall" eateries are like a hidden treasure. That's a unique place with a taste of Sci-Fi. The food looks so good! Those are some big onion rings.
I was just at the Congress location in Austin. We are transplanted NYers living in SATX and were in Austin for ACL. This one in Austin is as good as any NY pizza Ive had...San Antonio needs help on the pizza front. @@JnJEatingAdventures
@@sm1tty031 Welcome to Texas! We love visiting San Antonio. I found this article. I don't know if you've tried any of these yet. Let me know what you think if you try any. www.unation.com/stuff-to-do/best-ny-style-pizzas-in-san-antonio/
@@JnJEatingAdventures Thanks! Ive tried some of those but maybe I have a discerning taste. I want to try Yaghis...Will have to make the trek down to medical center
