Rolling Stone correctly called Nesmith's albums "Infinite Rider..." "From a Photon Engine...," and "Tropical Campfires" the best RnRoll you've never heard.
Wow, Benny and Bjorn has the music in their heads and not written a score.....they get some one else to write the score.....I believe a lot of music recorded with ABBA was the same, not written down....amazing talent.... With the record...yep I have one, it is great, but seeing the actual musical it makes more sense as to the story....
For my money, the second coolest TOTP performance ever, just behind The JAMMs (KLF) with It’s Grim Up North. I would also give them 3rd place with their Jarre send-up performance of Toxygene.
I remember first hearing this when it came out. I was just a kid. So, when someone turned the radio on, and all I hear are chainsaws, car engines, and breaking glass, I was like, “you can do this?… Cool!” 😃👍
Thank you. I used to sneak and stay up late for this! I'd always fall asleep and get found out the next morning asleep on the floor in front of the TV or on the couch without a blanket, TV still on. Lol
I performed as one of the aliens in this. 3D animation done in Newtek's Lightwave3D , and I think some 3D done in Impulse's Imagine 3D on Commodore Amiga computers. 2D animation done in The Art Department Pro. Big love and respect to the legendary Dj Soul Slinger and the talented Jackie Kamhaji. I forgot the girls name who made the foam and latex alien head's, but she was really cool. It was a magical and electric time in 90's New York.
