Such a sad, sad shell of a once absolute powerhouse of a band. I wish that they had stopped after Perfect Strangers. That would have been the icing on the career.
Thank you so much for letting me enjoy one of my favourite bands of all time. I'm an Ian Gillan fan since Jezus Christ Superstar when I was 12 years old.
Beautiful , very well played but exactly the same thing played in Madrid and exactly the same thing he will do in Toulouse and elsewhere. There is no more surprised with Deep Purple.
Yes there will be when their new record is out and I'll see them live in Oktober. The people who come one's to a show want their biggest hits ; We fans will always want more but that just doesn't go that way. Maybe when we win the lottery we can book a private show for us alone with all the songs we want to hear!
Vivo y con buena salud, está de gira por Asia central con su banda, músicos jóvenes que son buenísimos, el falla un poco como Iam y gente de sus edades pero a las leyendas se les permite más que a los nuevos
Indeed but I liked Steve also very much ,different but more melodic. I saw them in 2022 one of the first times with Simon and I'll see them again in Oktober. Meanwhile I'm looking forward to their new record. Ian still sings very beautiful for his age and the others are fantastic too.
@evrimylmaz8069 GILLAN CAN NO LONGER SING.... between 1969 and 1983, GILLAN was second to none....I saw I.G.B. Gillan, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple with Ian singing....all good.... THIS IS SHITE.... GILLAN CAN NO LONGER SING.... how much are tickets again....nowadays....
Blackmore can no longer play the guitar the 2016 shows were shite he was playing drivel as his fingers can no longer play the strings due to arthritis yet he plods on, playing a minstrel tune, time he gave it up but he loves the limelight too much I mean c,mon how much money do you need Ritchie?
I love them since i was eighteen. We grew up same time. But its enough i think. Gillan is rather at the end of his voice and power. It has been one of their best songs and was my favorite, but this is bader than the badest cover. PLease dont destroy my wonderful memories and stop it now, we dont need no more grandfatherrocker, i believe so! Share the good times and stop!
7:00 😮 Pretty impressive to be honest, I wasn't expecting for Gillan to pull that off. Ok, the rest of the song really stretches him but, he does a great job.
Reading Ian Gillan's autobiography at the moment, really good read. Purple fan from the 70's, also like a lot of Gillan solo stuff, Rainbow also. Seriously though, Mr Gillan looks & sounds dreadful, voice shot, horrible old man skinny legs. Time to call it a day lads. Please. Don't sully a brilliant musical career with this sad display. Please. Call it a day.
@peppecuomo9735 And who wants him to reach Blackmore's level? Blackmore is incomparable when he could plays rock. He can't play Deep Purple anymore, as the 2016 Rainbow shows proved. For God's sake, why do we have to keep reading people who long for what is no longer ... I'm a huge fan of Steve Morse, a brilliant guitar player, but ... Purple always looks forward. It's so clear OMG
