Making videos about projects I find interesting. I enjoy being part of the making community. Some videos are shoot with my DSLR. Most videos are shoot with an iPhone, edited on an iPhone and uploaded from my iPhone. Thanks for watching!
Ok this video was produced 5+ years ago so I hope you see this. On the box of this particular gun, it states 12 CFM @ 45 PSI. The largest compressor that I have puts out 5.4 SCFM @ 40 PSI. Do I need to upgrade my compressor, I currently have the Fortress 10 gallon ultra quiet (Harbor Freight) I appreciate any input Thanks
I have a video that explains air compressor needs for painting. If you’re painting a small project that allows time for your compressor to catch up as you go, it will be fine.
AWESOME review dude. Really, no BS, no fluff, right to the point, clear and concise. Nobody trying to be funny or a comedian or telling us their life's story (as if they were movie stars we are interested in) Just a straight shot review, well done. THUMBS UP AND SUBSCRIBED !!
I bought 1 a couple years ago just because it was so cheap. Ive never ran a spray gun in my 55 years. Bought myself a 68 Ford truck as a project. Time to put that gun to use. Perfect video for me. Thanks for the info.
You not just saved me money, but you will help me to make money and provide customers with a great paint job. I have been using Gracos for years. I still will use Graco, but for a 2nd paint sprayer, I will be purchasing this type. Your video is appreciated
Thanks again for the tips on how to get the best performance from this paint gun. Very helpful. Thanks too for talking to us like every man (& not talking down to us).
Very helpful vid. This will let me get more out of this gun that was right for my needs. I appreciate the links for inexpensive accessories that will maximize the performance and results from this tool.
May be MY issue with the Clumpy Paint? 3/8" 100' hose. With SEM EURETHANE Mopar HotRod black hood paint (FOR a fiberglass hood)? Thanks for another great video! #semHotRodBlack #a12HoodPainting
Can using a 3/8" 100' hose REALLY be that much of an issue? Seems I'm getting a LOT of H20 dripping OUT OF the gun (Amazon 🙄). Im getting "Clumped" paint landing on my work! Help!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
So.. Im trying to paint a 1969 Roadrunner (440 6BBL) Fiberglass hood. Seems Im mixing correctly, (1:4 1:4), have a quality Water/Oil filter in line and PSI guage. Setting to about 20/22 psi. Goes fine for 3-4 passes, then I'll get either water drops or might be "Clumps" of the Eurethane paint landing on my work! Now I AM using a 100' hose. @ 70/74°.. It's a thicker material, so using a 1.7 tip? Wonder if I should be using a 1.8 or 2mm tip? Very frustrating.😢 Any help be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the video!!
DITCH any tiny plastic cup-to-gun filters! Theyre JUNK. 33 years of painting @ a Dodge dealership I've NEVER used one. Metal flake? Different deal. NEVER SKIP ON A RESPIRATOR! This stuff WILL PUT YOU IN A WHEELCHAIR. 😊
