What I did was ripped the button board out the side of the damn tv and there is a connector that that connects too the button board with 2 positives and 2 negatives you just gotta get a small piece of wire and hit the positive and negative together the tv will turn on I don’t recommend doing this too an expensive tv tho just get it fixed I have an hd tv with really good graphics I just set it too the preferred volume ripped the board out and power it on this way it stays on HDMI 1 never too change cuz there is no buttons the tv works great with my gaming computer
U fixed my problem. Thank u. I never had to do this before. I don’t know why it started. I didn’t know what to do. Followed ur video and was able to airplay a cooking demo I had signed up for. Thank u so so much.

I could tell Google home speakers to change tv input, and raise volume on my Samsung TV for 2 years. But now after reinstalling smartthings, July 2024 the TV only shows as a "switch" in Google home app. I can tell my phone or Home speakers to turn on or off Samsung TV and that is it. It shows as a light switch type device only.
I moved my Roku to a different tv. The Roku page come up on the tv but I cannot use the remote to move to settings etc. Also, the remote still controls the power on the previous tv even tho the stick is removed.
I connected my Samsung K550 soundbar to a new Bravia 65" and I only get sound when it's at max volume and it is very low. Any ideas why? I tried connecting via ARC and that does not work either?
