I Know What Lies Ahead was written at the Plum family reunion on Good Friday of 1992. It was held in Tatum, New Mexico that year. The song had several writers including Charles Johnson and his grandfather Jesse Dixon.

I am still listening in 2024 and I will be forever. What makes me so sad as I just happen upon this video on RU-vid a year or so ago. I had never heard of them… I absolutely loved this song. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve listened to it. I wanted to download into my Apple iTunes, but it’s not available… Same song by many other people there’s no comparison this one is completely incredible. Charles Johnson and the revival are wonderful singers and musicians. The thing that makes me the most sad is after discovering this song I went to look up and read about them and found out he had passed quite some time ago. Very sad and disappointed, but I’ll continue always to listen to them and this song, especially❤❤❤❤❤
